  1. In light of my stock carbs sucking so bad I went out and bought some Mikuni VM's. Don't hate they will work fine, they are cheap, kinda looks stock, and I already have shit tons of jets for them. Some thing guys don't know including the people selling them in kits on ebay is you can get most of the VM line with a right and left side idle adjust. The 30-34mm ones have the same body so if you start at 30mm and upgrade your combo you can just bore them. I've had all the stuff to do them for years now so it basically cost me nothing...
  2. Stupid question, why epoxy the water jackets?
  3. Man I need to make a helicopter conversion for my shee or something.
  4. Agreed. If you can't post the pics in the thread then you shouldn't be allowed to sell.
  5. My next pair of tires are either gonna be those Super grips or Mud Machine AT's. I'm swaying more towards the MMs. Here is a side by side between them and Bearclaws. You can see they have deeper lugs with more side bite and they are alot lighter.
  6. I have 6 sets of tires. None of them get the traction on the trail like my mud tires. None of them go through mud like my mud tires. None of them are faster at the track then my mud tires. Thats pretty much it.
  7. I run 22" mud tires on my shee. When looking at them be sure to pick a set that is light weight and with some side bite. For instance my Bearclaws are 18lbs each. Super grip super lights are basically the same tire but weight 14lbs each. Mud tires have aggressive tread so they tend to slide around corners. Thats why you look for certain ones that offer side lugs to stop that.
  8. All this sound comparing is really subjective like comparing colors. When I think 2 in 1 pipe I think the sound of a dynoport. It has that high pitched french horn sound- best I can describe it. It sounds like that pretty much all the time through the rpms. You can get that sound with 2 pipes and working the silencers or using the DMC one. The difference is even with the DMC is they only sound like that when they are reved out. This my opinion anyway. With that said the DMC 916 silencer doesn't sound like a dynoport 2 in 1.
  9. I run stock carbs on my 10mil. Not the best set-up but it will work.
  10. The camera angle makes them look bent but also my bike likes to go left after it comes down from a wheelie. You can see my front left tire going left in the air down the track.

    ignition

It looks like it goes to the kill switch (easy enugh) and one of the pick-up wires. So we have either white/red stripe or white/green stripe.

So you simply wire it into you stock CDI. I hate to sound like a noob but which color wires do you use for a banshee? The pic is for a RM250?
  13. Will check that out thanks brother.
  14. Hey I could really use something like this where can I find more info on it?
  15. You need traction first then sit on the tank. My mud tires get so much traction that I HAVE to sit on the tank or it will wheelie and you have to get out of it. Without sitting on tank: Sitting on tank:
  16. Sounds good. They aren't THAT far off IDT. A riding vid woud be better.
  17. JT is a very old school brand. They will work great.
  18. 'Similar' being the key word here homie. What does yours sound like? Like someone said I don't think there a way to make it sound just like it unless you have it.
  19. PC carbs all the way. Paint won't last and polish only works in the sand. This is after tons of mud, dirt, riding, and washing
  20. You need new o-rings. I've found that shorter springs work better then the stockers on my Pro-circuits. With stock spings the pipes vibrate like a POS. The other thing is with at least my pipes not all o-rings are the same. Like if you buy a FMF spring and o-ring kit, the o-rings don't quite fit right on my PC pipes and they leak. The draw back to leaking pipes at the flange is a big mess of oil, a bad sound sometimes, and your pipes are sucking air from the flange and not out of your motor.
  21. My pro-circuits with cut silencers sound similar to the 2-1 pipe.
