  1. Why don't more people gp this route over a turbo. It would seem to me a roots type supercharger would be alot more well suited then a turbo and you could prolly ride it all the time? I've seen a couple but it looks like they are using thermactor air pumps wtf?
  2. You know I ain't no veteran and as Windy would tell me I'm just guessing lol I'm saying it gives better weight distribution over the tires. If I had an adjustable axel I'd get offset rims and flip them around just to make it look cooler haha
  3. I just don't get how it works. I'm not knocking you guys running them. I understand it helps the low-end. Is it the longer intack tract?
  4. Yamaha just does that since 4 strokes were actually an after thought. The official designation for the motor in my Blaster is a 1979 YZ400F. Why? Because the 78' 400 was a YZ400D and in 77' it was a 400C Then in 98' They came out with the poker that started the 4 stroke craze. It was a YZ400F. Kinda make finding parts a PITA. Idiots on youtube argue with me to this day telling me my motor is a 4 stroke. Rule of thumb. Any older bike with the same name as the youger one is always faster.
  5. Thanks. No more then 10 millimeters haha
  6. Stock 22cc dome, milled to 155 psi. 110 octane race gas
  7. This sounds like a mysterious air leak on the seals ( how old are they?) Not jetting for winter like finch said. It also sounds like you have fuel loading up. Does it idle high all the time or after a full throttle run?
  8. Aren't outerwear's naturally water repellent? I mean if your spraying water repellent on them are you really just choking them?
  9. Yup. Even when they are seized up mine don't spin out.
  10. I like the idea of heating the cases or the part in the oven first. I would be willing to bet this would be your best bet on using a stud remover without snapping a stud.
  11. An engines powerband is the rpm range where the powerstarts and then starts to drop off- at least thats what THEY want you to believe! Around here we use the red w/purple striped ones. The only way to fit it is to put it in the oven on the 'clean cycle' then put your cases in the deep freezer for 5 days. Shit goes right on after that.
  12. I get mine from the local 1/4 mile track MIR. If there are any cool gas stations around your way like one that sells race gas (we have it at the pump here) they can also order you some likely by the 55 gallon drum.
  13. I use one of these. There are no guarantees they won't snap, bend, or be reusable but I have re-used studs removed with this tool. Get it as close to the base of the stud for best results.
  14. Hes a POS. I got fuked on 2 different things I got off ebay from him in his classic bait and switch auctions- and yes one of my items were painted silver. I now have his auctions blocked on Ebay.
  15. They look like VM's. Ya give the pin a good shot with a hammer and small screwdriver. It should come out.
  16. Just make sure the product you use DOESN'T have sodium hydroxide in it.
  17. I run the stock airbox with the lid off, pro-flow intake w/outerwares cover, and uni air box vents. I never have to clean my filter but a couple times a year and I run in the thick stuff believe me. I'm sure pods would work well if you keep them clean.
  18. Yeah well I questioned my women about the amount of laundry piling up the other day and she said "There's no washer in drier in the kitchen" Using my my shit against me well played woman well played.
  19. The Wawa around here limits the gas at $75 unless you go in and pay. We never use credit cards even. I asked about it one day and they told me it was to prevent drive offs?
  20. Go this route sir. The gold on the OEM rims are anodized. Paint remover won't hurt it. Use lacquer thinner on a very wet rag to finish after the remover to make them perfect. Don't sandblast them!
