  1. I'm tired of it. I don't like the way my boss puts down the fact that I like the whole drag banshee scene. I def not an official member but I will be some day. He just bought a 13' Shelby GT500. He say "It will beat any 4 wheeler". I don't believe that. My just for fun question to you guys is what would it take to beat his car in the 1/8th mile. Would a 1/4 mile race even be possible?
  2. Hard day bro? I get mine done locally. He charges $50 a hole. Sometimes he hones my stuff for free too. Local is good!
  3. I want to add clipping a tree does it everytime too.
  4. Mattscss talks alot sence. I mean don't you have RC cars? They all do that after a big jump lol. It's pretty much always from a bent shock shaft. Throw it in the trash and buy another. I don't have clue on how to get the spring off. Your best bet is to watch Ebay for the best looking set. Don't buy from MInkia38.
  5. Heavy ass bearclaws FTW lol I trail ride a 10mil Vitos 465 drag port and yes it's not the best but my 22" bearclaws do smooth the power out. Learn to slip the clutch and it's doable. You won't have much midrange brother. I'm not really happy at the moment with my set-up but you have it easier in the dunes.
  6. Seems to me your trying to BS a potential buyer. I'd leave it like is or do the drill and zip tie method. Cutting them would be OK if it's not bad. Anything else will be obvious to anybody with a brain and clear eyes. If it were me buying it I'd see that shit right away and think what else did you try to cover up for a sale.
  7. How many hours guesstimate do you have on your top-end? A compression test is good advice. I might be wrong but I think you can get under over sized pistons from ProX if your bore isn't tore up, gouged, or out of round.
  8. Thanks Daj for filling in the important details haha
  9. Me on a 10mil stock swinger. It was very limited by the stock carbs.
  10. What you are talking is what I've wanted to do for a few years now. You want ridiculous power everywhere out of a 2 stroke. I think it can be done but at a whole lottah time and money invested. I'm talking totally off my head now but I do have some 'hands on' experience here with my 400 single blaster. I made a trail pipe for it using a DG YZ400 dirtbike pipe. I ended up adding a few inches to the headpipe- just to make it fit the chassis. What I ended up with was a powerband that pulled the wheels up litterly right of idle in the first 4 gears. The problem is it ended at about 5000 rpm. I had the motor re-ported and it still didn't make a difference. The pipe was just all wrong. I picture a 4mil DM having great torque because of it's shear size but then ripping your arms out of socket when the powerband really hits. A powervalve WOULD help a lil but the pipe will aways be holding you back. If you could have an adjustable pipe like the 350cc hydro boat racers use, a powervalve, and a big motor you could prolly get what you want but like I said that would probably never happen. Here's a vid of an adjustable headpipe incase someone is wondering. Here's a vid of my blaster with a too long headpipe
  11. This is none of my business for sure but but I just read it all on a public forum. I would take a loss on a deal if I had already made promisses to someone else for my stuff. Call me whatever but your name is all you have on the internet. This guy will prolly just change his but thats the point here.
  12. haha you might have to overdrive it. 5hp B&S motors are only 206cc's.
  13. Something like this could maybe be adapted. http://www.hscsupercharger.com/
  14. A 66mm stock cylinder bore with a stock 54mm stroke crank that has 115 rods on it.
  15. To be clear I know even less lol. I'm just wondering why this isn't done more often especially the guys who do 300ft drags with $$$$ to spend. I do know the thermactor air pumps are good to 5 psi. A real controllable powervalve is genious! I suppose it would have to be electronic to work right for this.
  16. The EK light weight chain is rated to 9400psi- I bet you can't break it. They drilled holes in it all along the outsid perimeter. It's also a non o-ring chain.
  17. Make a guard for the belt lol Call me crazy but dude in the second pic has the belt upside down... There has always been a historic turbo vs supercharger battle going on for years. You will always be faster with a supercharger period. In drag racing you don't have time to wait for power. It does not matter how much power it costs to run the supercharger if the parts can hold up to it. What does the fastest 300ft and 1/4 mile machines run?
  18. Forgive me but what kind of tranny are you guys talking about?
  19. If that the case Jay PM me that info I won't tell just think it's an awesome idea lol
  20. Come on man TZ250's keep up with 600's. I think a pitfall you might run into is being able to shift the bike.
  21. My agressive trail port 370 motor with stock carbs had 27.5 pilots- 320 mains. The 320's were a tad rich but kept my motor happy.
