  1. ^Agreed. Totally acceptable, I've ran worse with zero problems.
  2. If they are new plugs then I've been there done that. You have to compress the washer they come with. This sometimes gives your hand a false reading cause you think they are tight. Keep tightening them down until it gets really hard, or like Zillafreak said....
  3. I've tried Kenda Dominators which is kendas version on razrs. I tried them inflated to spec and with basically no air. All they do is spin- they won't even pull a wheelie. My Ohtsu radials are the same deal. My 22" Kenda Bearclaws are the shit but they weigh 18lbs each. My question is: Is there any tire out there outside of paddles that I can run everywhere. So far I'm thinking 22" Maxxis Zillas @ 14lbs each but are there better lighter options out there?
  4. Welp I'm back from the trip. I ran the stockers the whole time. There are too small period I mean if I could get smaller pilot's or a custom needle maybe but F that. It never stopped running fat in the middle. I raced pretty much everything having to put my balls on the gas tank. The front wheels were up more then down lol For reference I never sucked the bowls dry. New carbs will be on the way soon. heres a vid of it against a few 250's, 1 yamaha and 2 suzukis.
  5. Sup Dave! I am worried the 370's arnt enough but 380's blubbered. At this point I might not even mess with the PJ's. My airbox has the battery for my light in it. I'll be in the market for some 35PWK as soon as I get back though. Man the throttle response on this thing is crazy. Lug it around like a poker and it still has the guts right off idle. I can't wait to whip up on my 450 buddies and tell them it's stock haaaa
  6. I got it going good on the stockers. I had the carbs off no less then 20 times. Believe it or not it runs best with the stock pilots (25's), stock needles with the clip all the way op the top, 370 mains. Massive torque, massive top-end, wheelies in 4th just giving it gas! Possible video coming soon
  7. Ebay and you can get 28mm OKO's there too.
  8. Yes he's bringin the intakes too. I'm gonna check out those PWK's -thanks!
  9. I've heard of guys running 4 mils and even cubs on stock carbs. I'm in it for a flat curve and lots of torque. What you said makes sense to me though I suppose eventually you get to a point when the carb just can't regulate all that air coming in right. I think I got a buddy whos bringin PK 34's on pods for me to try. Hey man what size do you think would be ideal for what I want? 30's? I mean I like running the airbox too.
  10. You might be on to something with the pilots and thats what baffles me- it seems to be running way rich. All the way through the mid range too. At about 9-10k it hits a switch and wants to almost flip. I hear you on the bigger carbs but I have to leave in 3 days for a riding trip I don't have time to get them. Hells I just got the motor together 2 days ago. I KNOW it can run better then it is even with the stockers. I have Dyna needles, 25-30 pilots, and 260-420 main jets to work with we can get it better.
  11. Yup I'm talking about the airscrew. I went up to 30's on the pilot and it's still not running worth a deuce. I'm currently running 370 mains.
  12. Not at all sir. I'm trying to jet a 10mil vitos 465 with stock carbs. I've had the carbs off 7 times now re-jeting them and it will not run right. I would even consider myself a veteran tuner but this has me baffled. Of course I know they are horribly wrong but this is a trail piped, stock headed, trail set-up!! I'm being serious. Someone help please?
  13. My question is if my 27.5 pilots are screwed all the way in should I go up 1 size or 2? Thanks...PB
  14. I run a 27w led, and a battery of course. It's pretty bright and I only run one.
  15. The 50th is def one of my faves. Others are the yella/black 03' SE, and the 08' orange one always looked good to me.
  16. I've never riden my shee or any other for that matter that didn't have race cuts so the fact that full fenders suck is news to me. The deal is ina couple weeks I'm going to Busco Beach NC for a few days and every year we get a torrential down pour of rain. Next thing you know my front tires are shooting a constant rooster tail all over me. I don't mind the mud but I wouldn't mind less either.
  17. Don't want to buy them haha I have an extra set of stockers though.
  18. When its wet and muddy I hate the way my race cuts constantly throw mud on me. Has anyone had any experience cutting up a different set of stock fenders and adding them on? I would think this is similar to what Maier had a few years back but I want to see if you could do it to stockers.
  19. I noticed on their packaging they say they are 'double forged'. What does that mean and does it help?
  20. The overflow bottle is a good work around to the stock banshee motor that tends to overheat. The stock radiator is kinda small for the motor especially after mods and the stock impeller doesn't pump that well at low rpms. It functions as a catch for those times your run hot enough to boil over then once it cools down it returns the coolant into the system. It does nothing to keep your motor cool, it just stops your coolant from overflowing on the ground and having to add more. If you fix the overheating problem to begin with then there is no need for it. You can then save weight, and get rid of the eye sore lol
  21. An oversize radiator (Ebay $100 +or-), max flow billet water pump impeller, and redline max chill coolent additive. Guys will argue on which different brand name of water pump impeller and coolant additive to use but they are all good enough to upgrade with. .
  22. I don't run the over flow bottle. The first time I raced her hard my ride did the same thing. I was thinking this is BS cause I took alot of extra steps to keep my motor cool. Come to find out I over filled my radiator. I can't guarantee this is your problem but it's something that is overlooked alot. After my motor threw up that extra amount it stopped and ran great for the rest of the trip.
