  1. Yeah Troy, I really didn't know how to describe what I wanted to Jeff and he told me he thought he knew what I wanted. I was a bit concerned about what it would look like, not knowing exactly what I was getting. When I got it and opened it up I was very suprized, it looked pretty slick coudos to Jeff for knowing his shit! I got it on the bike, but don't want to ride it until I get better staple job. It really looks good on the machine, kinda sets off everything so far I'm very pleased with everything I have purchased from all of the site sponsors HJR, VJ'S, F.A.S.T., Chariot, all good stuff.
  2. Thanks for the replies, I'll check into some of these. I'm reluctant to spend a whole lot of money on a staple gun as I'll probably only use the damn thing this one time. I'm not wanting to spend more for the staple gun than I did for the cover, if you know what I mean, but may have to. I got a very nice seat cover and don't want it to look like crap when it's installed.
  3. Been trying that, but maybe I need to put it on the floor when I staple it I don't know. The cascade that came on it had the little wire staples and these are the flat wider ones.
  4. Just got my new seat cover from Vj, having a little trouble getting the staples to go into the plastic. What does everyone else use(staples and staple gun) to attach the cover? I just bought a new electric staple gun, but barely goes into plastic and mashes the staple down and don't hold for shit. Any thoughts will be apreciated.
  5. Got a sset of Shearers they perform exellant and look good. Never had the RDZ.
  6. Try bleeding the brakes just for s+g and see if there is any air in the lines.
  7. Did you open the lines at anytime during the install? You could have a piece of dirt or something in the master cylinder or maybe just coincidence that the master needs rebuilt. The spring that goes to the caliper is a return for the parking brake and it only needs adjusted if the parking brake does not hold.
  8. Just got my VJ's cover today looks perfect!! Jeff does great work for sure.
  9. The cool head actualy holds more coolant than a stocker. If your losing coolant by the overflow tube at the radiator then you have a hose or radiator leak. Check the radiator to see if it is full and then your hose routing, the overflow from the radiator goes to the bottom nipple of the overflow bottle and the top nipple on the bottle goes to the ground.
  10. A little 1211 triple bond will solve your problems. Guaranteed.
  11. x10,000 to the umpteenth power Kevin is "DA MAN" , he can make your stuff run like a striped ass ape!
  12. Shustack-good buyer, pays as agreed. Would gladly do business with him again.
  13. Trail Techs are pretty good. I like mine. FAST has them, give Jeff a call.
  14. As long as u replace all of the componants with the harnes.(cdi, key switch, main switch, etc) will work fine
  15. Call Kevin if he did your port work , he'll point you in the right direction on the carbs.
  16. Better to get it right before you run it and ruin it. what seals are you using? ( brand)
  17. If by breaking up you mean hesitating, then you are too rich in the middle and need to drop your needle down(raise the clip) if it is bogging and slowly revvs you neeed to get a bigger main like 320 because you are lean. Then adjust needle clip position. Hope this helps.
  18. Thanks for the info! Sawzall sound good. A hoof trimmer is used for trimming horse hooves to put shoes on them.
  19. What brand was the rebuild kit? Maybe post it so if others bought the same, they would know to look at the pusher rod so they do not run into the same issue you had.
  20. What do those of you who cut the tread on your tires use to cut them? I was thinking of buying a set to cut everyother row, but didn't know what tool to use to cut them off.
  21. Was this on a 450 conversion, or banshee frame, was it a 450 master cylinder kit or for a banshee? Is there a difference in the plunger rod between the two, or just the kit had something different? Not pointing fingers or badmouthing anyone, but we have all overlooked or didn't pay attention as close as we should have and caused us issues that made us want to kick ourselves in the rear when we found out what the problem was!
  22. Yeah sometimes the obvious can be overlooked or not noticed. Glad you're back up and running.
