  1. I got it all straightened out. We tryed the pvc plugs and did some tuning and then we put a stock crossover in and it seemed to be a little easier to tune and made the throttle response a bit better. But its all good now. Shee runs like a champ. Thanks to Dave at east coast atv. Thanks for the info guys. I appreciate it.
  2. Can i eliminate the whole tube? just get boots with no tube mounts or plug the tube mounts, or is it better to have the tube for trail riding
  3. good, just idled a little high. If u let the clutch out while sitting their it brought the rpms down but slowly came back up. And i wasnt going to put the boost bottle on but i had nothing to plug them with. This time it wont be on.

Well i had my shee out yesturday and around half way through our ride i though something wasnt right, so i had to finish the ride out, climbed a couple decent hills and when i got home i noticed my boots where the boost bottle goes in was ripped on both sides. I really wasnt pounding the bike just putted home in the rain. Any chances of damaging anything? Thanks Joe
  5. a lot of ppl here in the coal region usually use aerospeeds, cyclones, paddle masters(discontinued) and dominators.

  7. The previous owner was lazy and a idiot. he had silicone around the orings and reeds instead of just buying new orings. After i put it back together they did hold and didnt blow any coolant. but that was at 120psi, who knows if they will blow when their is new rings in their and the comp is up.
  8. Fuck me, i got a great deal on it but it looks like i will be paying for it in the end. The nik wasnt to bad but sketchy in one spot, the shop said with his diamond hone he might be able to get it out. But if not looking at 360 to get it re nicked. Is their any other pistons i can use with this set up? Do i have a stroker crank? i was told it might be a 421 cub. Thanks Joe
  9. Whats up fellas, i just bought a 01 shee that has had some issues. Coolant dumping into the cylinder. Put new orings in the cool head and stopped the coolant leak. Found it had 68mm pistons and a trinity cool head with 20cc domes. And what apears to be a cub style jug. So i put it back together and did a compression test. It had 125psi in the left cylinder and 120 in the right cylinder. So i took it for 2 15min rides and still just didnt seem right. Somebody told me to do a compression test when the motor was warm, so 1 day later i warmed up the motor and did a compression test and the left cylinder was 120psi and the right was 95psi. So i tore it down to find the piston starting what apreared to be melting. I found a cracked reed which was the route of the evil, but the 2 to 1 carb set probably did help either. So i took the jug to get re honed and i need new pistons. On the top of the pistons it sais 7009G 9768M 68 00MM Here is a pic of it I havent found much on it. I Dont know what crank or rods r in it. I found 29l on 1 side of the rod and a r on the other side but from looking around that looks like a stock rod. As for the crank im lost. I also dont wanna tear it apart to just see what crank is in it. If you have any advice i appreciate it Thanks Joe
