  1. Has anyone used the vent block off that goes on the clutch cover to eliminate the hose comig out of it?
  2. Does anyone run the vent block off the goes on the clutch cover to eliminate the hose coming out of it. Also is this more for drag bikes or can you still run trails and be fine with it. I'm running a 4mil serval, mainly trails but doing a little bit of everything with it. I bought a package that came with it and just trying to figure out if I should put it on or not. Let me know what you guys think.
  3. No you can run either but I've heard tge 450 brakes are better.
  4. I would definetly get it. If you don't get it tell me where it is and I'll come get it. Relpacing tge crank on a banshe isn't really that big of a deal. Eventually everyone will have to do it. If everything else is in good shape them you are looking at fairly minimal cost in it.

  6. Welcome to the hq. Porting your cylinders is the best thing you can do for the money. Weather you plan on just playing around in your back yard or if you want to full out drag you can have it ported to what you want. I would talk to some of the site sponcers and see what they would recckmend as far as what type of port job. If you looking for just bolt on stuff then I would say pipes, cool head, timing plate.... Oh and don't forget about tge boost bottle. Lol.
  7. Yeah there two different pieces so you can mix and match whatever you want.
  8. No not at all it's already ported for the bigger crank.
  9. I would trying adjusting the clutch till the arrows are perfect and see if it that's the problem.
  10. It's been a while sense I've done a clutch but I want to say that if tge arrows aren't lining up or if the arrow on the ran is closer to the stator side then when your pulling the clutch it isn't engaging all the way and if it's to far the other way or towards the clutch side then it's always dragging.
  11. The only thing I can guess would be the clutch isn't adjusted right. Try spinning the adjuster off at the handle bars and see if it helps. Also make sure your arrows are lined up on the cases.
  12. My guess would be somewhere around 65hp maybe 70.
  13. My buddy has a set of fmf fattys in great shape that he's selling. There are some pics of his bike in my sig. It's the black and green one. If your interested let me know.
  14. If you send them to him I believe it's anywhere from 250 to 400 for just port work no boring or anything. It all depends on what type of porting you do and how much time he has to spend on them. He built my buddies 4mil dune port and that thing hauls ass. He also built my 4mil serval but I haven't gotten to run it yet. Great guy to deal with.
  15. Would you be interested in selling the +4 swingarm? If so how much shipped to 48066 and can you send pics to jont5285@yahoo.com
  16. Oh ok well I think my buddy is selling his. Pretty sure it's a plus 6 stock carrier. I'll ask him how much he wants for it and get some pics.
  17. Don't have a swing arm but you might want to rethink the cub for trails. If your still in the process of building and haven't gotten the cylinders yet I would look into the serval. That's what I just built for a trail bike.
  18. So after all this debate about big carb small carb big pipe small pipe, how do you guys think a pair of 35mm pwk a/s and R2 pipes would run on the serval. Oh and with v-force2 reeds.
  19. My guess is cub/cheeta and maybe a ported stock cylinder. What ever they are those are some pretty serious numbers.
  20. Hate to say it but that's probably the worst most pointless $20 you've ever spent. They do absolutely nothing besides tear your intake boots and cause air leaks. Then you'll be rebuilding your motor. If I were you I would throw it in the pipe for the scrap yard and go back to stock crossover tube or spend the money and get a one piece.
  21. Looking for a +4 swingarm for a friend. Either chrome or black. Not sure what style he wants so let me know what you have. If you can send pics and price to my email. Jont5284@yahoo.com
  22. I've got a set of stock pegs in pretty good shape. Let me know how much. I don't really know what to ask for them.
  23. I don't really know for sure when I'll be getting mine dynoed due to money but there are actually a couple around us. There is one at ExtreamRPM on hall and hydenrick and there is Kennedy powersports and I believe there out in Romeo area. Or there's always vitos in bloomfeild area but I would personally rather go either of the other ones before vitos.
  24. Those are pretty nice numbers. I can wait to see what mine runs. I'll be running 35s with R2s. I know of a guy that has pretty much my exact setup that will be dynoing his soon. I believe Borrnick will be posting the numbers if not I'll post mine when I get it all put together.
