  1. It's already been posted in the dyno section. There is a graph for ported and unported serval with 35pwks. It's not with rockets or r2s but atleast it's some numbers.
  2. It depends on what the offset is on rack one. Measure both side from center of rim to the outside on each set. That will be your offset. I believe the 450 rims have a bigger offset but not sure about that.
  3. Yeah that's true. But then what about running a stock frame class and drag/stretched frame class?
  4. What kind of cylinder is it? Cub? You don't replate stock cylinders just bore them.
  5. I like that idea a little more. Even things up a little for some guys.
  6. Drop that timing down. That's way to much. Set it at +4.
  7. Yeah dude if your running lean that's a jetting issue not gearing. You need to bump up the size of your jets.
  8. Where are you located? My motor was setup for pump gas and ive got 22cc domes. I haven't did a comp test but just ran race fuel to be safe. I'm having new domes cut over this winter. I'm currently running 15/41 as well and really like it. As for tire I haven't had a lot of luck. Everything I've tried spins like crazy even on payvment.
  9. Did you measure the intake side?
  10. If anything I just need more paddle. I'll be buying new ones soon cause I tore mine up but I'll be going up to at least a 10 paddle if not more. I was spinning a lot with the 8s.
  11. I run a 15t front and 41t rear on my serval. Haven't had a chance to get it in the dunes yet but have had it in the sand running some 8 paddle haulers and I loved it.
  12. Try switching the plug wires and see it the problem switchs sides. I'm guessing it's more than likely the coil. If you have someone with a running banshee see if you can use there's to test it.
  13. Yes I'm order to run a 8 plate you would need a different basket. As far as needing it I would say no. You don't really need a 8 plate till you get into real high hp.
  14. What kind of numbers are you running and how does it do on alky.
  15. Oh ok. The last ride out there was my first time there. I'll have to look into some property out there.
  16. West wouldn't be to bad but I wouldn't want to step on Phills toes with his drag strip sence I would like to set one up as well.
  17. I've got a 4mil serval running 35pwks and R2pipes with stock tranny and fasts clutch with heavy springs and it does great. Shifts perfect. I use it as mainly a trail bike but took it to Phil's drag race a couple weekends ago and it did great. I only had 8 paddle haulers in real bad shape like missing paddles and I ran a 4.6 I believe. So no need for a lockup or over-ride. They could help a little but not nessicary.
  18. Yeah Im definitely not going to try and get any land down here. New Baltimore wouldn't be to bad but I don't know if I could get it approved there or if I could find any land big enough. I would like to keep it within about an hour north of here but I'm thinking I would have better luck going over by I-75. Plus it's a more traveled express way. How big of a piece of land do you guys think I would need to do this. Obviously this depends on the size of the mx track but something a decent size. Atleast something that people would want to drive to and pay to ride.
  19. Hi guys just trying to get some input. I may be coming into a large amount of money soon and would like to open a riding area. It would consist of a fairly large mx track and a 300ft drag strip. I live in Roseville MI and not really sure what would be a good area to do this in. I know I would probably have to look into zoning but I don't want to go to far north. Do you guys think this is something I could make some money off and something that people would use? I just know for me to go riding anywhere I have to drive like 3hrs north to go anywhere. Also what do you guys think would be a fair asking price at the gate. All input would be great especially from fellow Michigan guys. Thanks.
  20. I would go atleast a 10 paddle. I have 8 paddle haulers and when I took it to the track this last weekend all I did was spin tire. I'm also running 35mm carbs but with R2 pipes. I still pulled a 5.8 but could have been alot better if I had more paddle.
