  1. I believe just prolights, durabuility is not an issue with theese pistons, 95% of piston failures are due to incorrect clearance, or jetting issues. I would pick a site sponsor to do the bore and chamfer of the cyls. fast,hjr, redline, m&m,wildcard.
  2. I used to mx my shee with fmf fattys, my nephew had procirciut pipes, they were very comparable. both had great low and mid power.
  3. wiseco is the piston of choice on stock ported cyls.
  4. it looks like the frame is tweeked where the front lower a arm mounts. could just be the angle of the pic though.
  5. heat and vibration are 2 culprits. short circiut and time are others.
  6. I took out good stock pistons and put in the vito's pistons and there was a very noticable gain.
  7. I have alll kind of leg clearance with the R2s, I also moved my foot pegs back 2inches and down 1 inche.
  8. if you don't have any porting done the vito's piston will give you a little bit more, the vito's piston is forged by wiseco and vito does the machineing. I used to run them and liked them.
  9. razrs don't hook up very good, mine spins them like I'm on ice.

  11. how are the atv trails in kalkaska? the saint helen trails and ogemaw trails are fun! we ride the dunes 4 or 5 times a year, kind of a pain in the a to get a big group together, the way things work there. I;ve never rode the U.P. how are the trails around gwinn, are there many? It would be fun to get a big group together to trail ride some where north, there are several guys around our area that would proly be in for a group camp and ride.
  12. 400 grit wetsand paper. bullydog adhesion promoter and flex agent. urathane enamel, base coat clear coat.

  15. looks ok to me. I put liquid teflon on the oring and tube, helps prevent corrosion and cover goes on and comes off much easier.

  18. around $600 would make them pipes look like a brand new set of cpi inframes.
  19. you can replace the tube if you can weld, but their are several swing arms on ebay for under $50
  20. try sea foam top engine cleaner, not corrosive but breaksdown the carbon well
  21. thankyou I tried to seach, I found 2 topics on this, when I tried to open them I was denied access.
  22. is the only thing different from the early cdi to the newer ci the plug design? can I change the connector and put a new style on our 87?
