Do you mount your on the top or upside down on the grab bar? I was think of trying the grab bar.

Check if the choke tube that goes from carb to carb is in place. Did you guy check the carb if they are sync? Also did you guys mix up the float bowls? There is a Left one & Right one the left one has the little tube in it. IF this all check out then disconnect the tors box under the left side of the gas tank and see if that works. good luck & keep us posted.

I have two Mount that I like. Both of them are on my helmet one top, one on the L/S. If you are looking at it your are fliming it. Just my 0.02.

I am use a banks power Exhaust kit & love it. Also there is bull dog kit. You can get both kit with muffler delete. Good luck

Nice looking truck JD. Very clean for 96,000 on her. Looks like it had a 5th wheel it before. Works out Great for you when you get the JD custom 5th wheel trailer! Also sound like you got the update fuel injectors witch is nice do to the 04 had injector problems. So you should be good to go!
