    So I take it you floated the ground on the stator? Did you also try adjusting the voltage out put? This is how I set up mine.

    Yes I have look at all these pic before & wish it could be re-opened up. There is a lot of sand to play on out there just sitting.     I made a block off plate for my stock cover. Now my lockup cover has no vent hole at all. I have no problems at all.
