What should be done with the trans?

I am in the process of rebuilding my banshee. The machinist had me pull the crank to check it and said I need to get it welded. At this point would I be better off going with a stroker crank? I ride mostly sand but I also need to use this quad on dirt when the whole family wants to go for a ride. I have stock suspension and swingarm. I don't have buttloads of money to spend so I am trying to do this as efficiently as possible.

I have a stock banshee, other than t-5s. Compression is low so it's rebuild time. I want to keep this mild , something that can blast the dunes yet still be ok for some fast trails. I have 4 strokes for trail duty but I will have to ride the banshee from time to time when mom wants to ride. What is a good route to take. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This will surely spark some controversy but I have a Trx450r , Banshee, and a Predator. The wife loves the predator. Its not quite as fast as the other two but has electric start, reverse, nice suspension and plenty of power for her. It is much more trail friendly than the other two. They are fine for trails but have to be ridden much more aggressively. You can get a killer deal on a used Predator if you look around.

i have a yellow radiator and tank plastic, i would be willing to trade for another color, what color is on yours now?

i need the stock heel gaurds, most people take them off and toss them, but if anyone has a pair please let me know.

do you still have the black tank shroud and the red radiator cover? if so, could i get some pics?

i don't really need the desert tank, but would you be willing to sell the plastics separately?

I'm looking to get preferably a set of white plastics in pretty good condition, but any color will do. Would also like the gas tank cover in black or white.
