  1. It normally isn't needed for basic setups. Like +2 arms on a banshee that use stock length shocks. Elka should already know the needed shock length and compression length and the position. But anything custom or one off, you will need to give them tons of info. Shock Length at extended (max length), shock length at compressed (min length), shock length at ride height (helps set up sag). They will like to know the frame height too. The more info you give the shock builder, the better they can set up your shocks.
  2. What you like. Taller people with longer arms would like a taller stem that is forward. tyler sized people don't need longer stems are they are short.
  3. First, please go back and fix your hundred typos. It will make it easier for people to follow your post. Second, you need to know exactly what is done to your bike. Figure out the porting number, the dome size, etc. You most likely have a mismatched setup and this is killing your power. Third, you have zero chance against those 3 bikes currently. If you are losing by 8 lengths to that zilla, you need major overhaul of your setup.
  4. First, you need to pressure check the coolant system for leaks. If this passes, need to leak down test the engine for leak, air leaks cause lean condition which can cause it to overheat.
  5. Pretty sure you jetting is just way too big. Also, stop mixing fuels, pick one and use it. When you mix, you never mix exactly the same ratio each time and this will effect things.
  6. Air leak a 192 main on a single carb is pretty big.
  7. download tapatalk for your phone. or post the code.
  8. IIRC, shearer silencer is like 2.125" OD, so it should work. Measure your bolt pattern on that S/A and see if it the right size. Pretty sure it will work.
  9. You can do a lot with the frame. Gunmetal with some red flakes would pop. Same with swingarm. Maybe do black lower arms and red uppers. Don't forget the stem, hubs, grab bar, bumper, etc. The little pieces, levers, covers, engine, etc. Just try to think over everything before you start. Also, the seat can really make a color scheme come together. Not sure if CSL still makes cover, but he can get you a nice one.
  10. Just have a solid plan before you start. Make sure you know what you would like to do on each part before you start.
  11. Gun metal should be darker than OEM silver. By black accents, what would be the accents.
  12. Because you can't see how you called yourself a fool? You said "id be a fool if i just setup a bike for just running around a ORV park mx track my entire season" Right after that you said "I got 2 dedicated mx quad setups."
  13. I would be more worried about a twisted frame pulling one way.
  14. So you are 2x a fool?
  15. That dent is from hitting something. I would check the frame for issues, a-arm mounting for issues, etc.
  16. The front, he did jack shit. A set of long travel arms and shocks would be better. Changing the angle of the shocks like in the article isnt always a good thing unless you know what you are changing. The rear, move upper shock location, removed linkage and did something to lower mount location. Hard to tell of this is good without more picture. But this changes shock geometry and doesnt work with an airbox.
  17. I read it. All he works on is banshees. Maybe you still don't get it. Banshee are not the only 2-stroke. So how can he be called a 2 stroke shop if he only works on banshees? Wouldn't banshee be better to use in his name than 2-stroke? After all, it isn't like you have to earn your company name....
