  1. You wont get any reading really as it should just be a pulse. As long as you see the pulse it should be fine.
  2. I am talking about the pick up. Not sure what color the wires are as it has been a while, but check to make sure they are sending a signal out.
  3. Have you checked continuity between all points? Have you checked the flywheel? Make sure the pick up are clean and the pick up sensor is good?
  4. Maybe a 170/65 then.
  5. So 290/25 jetting 100psi in compression test 62FASL First, compression test, was it done correctly? If so, your compression is very low for a stock banshee and will cause hard starting when cold.
  6. Not reading back to see all your mods, but I would say start around 160/60 with EEK needle and see where it is. Might like a bigger pilot with the air striker.
  7. My first post in this. Where was I attacking you? This is your reply. You came back like a hurt school girl. Just reading your post, saying things like porting number, dome size, engine setup is not 100% required shows just how dumb you are on this subject. Just to know what gearing to run, you need to know how the engine will act under load. This means knowing the porting, knowing the engine can handle the load. Also need to know chassis setup as suspension is important with gearing. Need to know tire size. Everything matters. Another reason you need to know engine specs for pipe selection is because Mat Shearers pipe is designed around a certain engine setup. Having using his pipes and FMFs, my engine setup made the same peak power with both pipes, but the FMF made it 1k rpm earlier and made more torque. Like I have asked for many times, what is your engine setup. You have zero knowledge of engine building and every post you keep making, the more and more I know you are not an engineer, just a janitor.
  8. So you want help from people, but you won't give any info? Here is another reason I can tell you are not an engineer. It is clear you didn't come here for help. I will keep bringing up grammar and spelling because you have to keep repeating yourself when talking to children that are slow mentally and maybe physically. The physical threats. You wouldn't do anything if you saw me. Only person trying to act big is you. So again, who did the porting?
  9. Are you honorable enough or man enough to type out a post that has a complete sentence without 10 misspelled words? You call yourself an engineer but you don't know the difference between your and you're. You are the only one acting big. All I ever did was ask for you to take a second longer and fix your post. Your pussy started to bleed and your butt hole got all hurt. So again, who did the porting on your engine?
  10. So anyone, who did the port work on this guys engine? It is not clearly posted anywhere and these terribly written post are not worth the time running through a translator.
  11. It is because they never want to listen. Common scenario for noobs. Come in asking a question, e.g. "best drag gearing and setup." They are given advise, e.g. "Change your engine setup." They argue with advise saying they know engines very well and blah blah, e.q "I worked on rz350" or "porting doesn't matter for pipes." Most people here with knowledge are tired of trying to help these noobs that never want to actually listen. Most of these noobs just want to hear their opinion in a man's voice.
  12. It isn't needed and you shouldn't use anything on them.
  13. The only engineer he could be is custodial. He can't even answer the simple question of who did the porting on his engine. And lets not touch on the lack of basic spelling or grammar.
  14. So who did did the porting on your bike?
  15. Guess this is talking about post crash bhq and not pre-crash.
  16. Did I just read this correctly? A stock quadzilla has you by 8 bikes by 3rd gear? Holy fuck your engine is running like shit.
  17. Ran just a 3" line and never had an issue.
  18. I personally would not use a higher pressure cap. All it would do is raise the boiling point meaning when it doesn't finally boil over, the coolant is a lot hotter than before.
  19. is that the same line you use on your girl? it is smaller so i can dig better.
  20. Ya, the crank is $400. It is more like $1000 to put it in correctly.
  21. You can fix your typos with a smartphone, just learn to spell. As for shearer, they do depend on porting and dome design. It is like saying, you can put a 4mil crank and not worry about domes or porting. Everything matter if you want it to run correctly. Like I said before, sounds like you have a halfass setup and you have zero intention of fixing this. 15/43=2.867. 14/41=2.929. They are not mathematical the same. Also, larger sprockets means better chain grip and less bending of the chain around the sprocket meaning less loss from friction. It is 100% required to know the info so people can give you better advise. It is very hard to give you better advise when you wont give any info about your current setup. It is basic, how about you give us something to work with so we can help you. If you think what steve or myself said wasn't constructive, you are clueless. You can't drag race and expect to win when using a trail engine and setup.
  22. 18" front tire, what are you gay?
