  1. Don't need to split cases for shift star. Also you will need to split for crank.
  2. So 68mm driveline cylinders, ported by driveline with their wiseco pistons? My only thing would be the stock crank. Are you having the crank rebuilt? Make sure it is trued and welded and it should be ok. Just don't skip over the clutch, make sure the transmission is good and the coolant system is working fine.
  3. There are 3 parts to this. Money + Power + Tuning = Reliability. If you put 100hp on stock parts, you wont be reliable. If you put 100hp on good aftermarket parts, but can't tune, you wont be reliable. You can easily run 100hp on a 392 top end for hours if you build it correctly. You will also need to tune it correctly.
  4. I am more surprised by Pro Circuit numbers than anything else. I figured those would have tapered off than just climb. I see what you picked them.
  5. Heard you died yesterday, sad news

  6. Did this just start? If so, Did you just starting using the oil? Did you just switch to these jets? Did you get the gas from a new location?
  7. What oil are you running? Can you just wipe it off or is it actually stained?
  8. WTF. spark plugs wear faster because of porting? I would have laughed at them. As for porting engines not lasting a long time. A incorrect ported engine might not last, but one that is done correct will last just as long as stock. The key to long lasting engine is the tune. Don't run it lean.
  9. A wider quad is more stable, it helps on both dunes and pavement. Then shock set up can make a world of difference. Fox shocks can be set up to be to be stiffer for the road then softer for the dunes. It is worth the money.
  10. Start saving up cash now. Expect to spend 1000-2000 on suspension (maybe more because of shipping).
  11. If you want to learn and grow your mechanical skills, the banshee is one of the easier quads to work on.
  12. The first picture is shearer pipes but they are not the same as the other pictures. The 2nd picture looks like toomey T5 pipes just rebranded. Check the pictures here http://sandtoyzunlimited.com/sandtoyz/newlook/store/store_view.cfm?store_area_id=46&store_dept_id=554
  13. Are these the pipes you are running? http://www.skylineperformanceae.com/t9-exhaust-for-banshee-350
  14. Why not just use driveline top end?
  15. Only thing I would check it that the dent doesn't have a sharp edge by the tire, other than that, send it.
  16. You really don't have a clue what you are trying to say. Older cars don't have better steel, they have more steel, big difference. Newer cylinders have way better steel in them that the older OEM, buy a pair of driveline cylinders and be done with it.
  17. https://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?/topic/154225-2010-yfz-450-front-suspension-swap/&do=findComment&comment=1380563 This is the reason I would never use Jogaca shocks. Anyone this guy named dropped is not worth being associated with. I wish more of the post were in that thread but ya he is bad.
  18. Um isn't a very important part of setting up a shock for your weight the spring rate? A heavier person would need a heavier springs, same with a heavier quad and a longer arm. He seems like he really cares about putting lipstick on the shocks and not about making them work 100%. Does he dyno the shocks?
  19. Those are just rebuilt yfz shocks. don't let the guy tell you they are his shocks as yamaha built them for a yfz450. Don't use them on a banshee, get shocks designed for a banshee.
  20. So current mods are just T6 pipes. Why not get a cool head with domes for the fuel you want to run (21cc is common for pump gas 93aki which is similar to 98 RON, talk to builder when ordering) A timing plate, can adjust (+4 is common for pump gas, again talk to builder when ordering as they will know a better number) A good clutch VF4 reeds New air filter Jets to match new mods and elevation and temp These mods will be the easiest for you to install yourself and will wake your banshee up some. They will also be the fastest mods to get shipped to you as it sounds like you are not in the USA. I would suggest calling FAST
  21. Do this. Put bearings in freezer over night. Put hub in oven at like 200F for a hour (just make sure hub is clean of grease and shit) Bearings will drop in easily.
  22. Those hubs are just billet, nothing special for the front really. You will be fine with your stock ones.
