If you can program the timing curve, you can gain power. Since you no long have a stock banshee engine, your engine might like a different curve. The issue, you might need months on a dyno and playing with it to find the perfect curve.

Why not just get a OEM CDI and not worry about it?

You won't be close with just throwing some shocks and LT a-arms on a banshee frame.

A stock banshee is not quick. It also has terrible handling. It is way to narrow and is actually top heavy. Once you drop some cash into the suspension, making it wider, it is a lot better. Shit, 10k into a banshee is nothing really. Buying a quad for 2500-3500 (stock). Dropping 2500 (arms, axle, shocks, stem, damper) into suspension, then another 2k (porting, new top end, head, reeds, clutch, trans, and nee parts) into engine parts, it would be a good banshee. That is 8k and it is still a stock size engine with some work.

You saying total weight with claude on the banshee is 450lbs max? or saying the banshee without claude is 450lbs?

What 4 stroke do you current have?

either run full race fuel and have your engine set up for it, or run pump gas. mixing fuels is stupid

i would not race 3 quad wide in the stuff tyler was doing. it sounds like this doesn't need much suspension.

It sounds like he is doing something a little different than what you did. It sounds like he is doing drag racing up an incline.

When you say 3 wide, do you mean 3 quads race up the hill at the same time?

I have heard this too. I didn't ride sand enough to know, but a good powdercoat with a a clear might hold up.

Do you have the ball in there? Could be many things. Missing clutch ball. Wrong clutch cable Wrong adjustment. Check everything you changed

Are you talking about when you pull the lever, it is weak?
