Slades is one of the few options for "legal riding locations" . The trail riding is fair but gets a little boring after a few return trips.
If you have the time to spare you're going to want to take a road trip down to Busco Beach. You need to PM Surfjag ( Justin) . He lives here in Va beach but his second home is Busco
Pretty sure he will be there this coming weekend ( all weekend if I know him )
Good luck

Denny has turned out some great work, no question there. With that being said ...
BHQ offers excellent site sponsors. Call one of them.
Just my opinion.
Good luck

^ What he said.( regarding the crank) Are you committed to HJR ?
There are quite a few builders to choose from here. Personally speaking I would call around. I will speak for Brandon from Wildcard simply because he did outstanding work on my stock cylinder build. Whenever I need help or advice I make one call to him. Just that easy.
Good luck with whoever you go with.

Cool
Glad you figured it out. Do ya have recent photos. I hope you have deep pockets.
Now that it's up and running you'll have to change EVERYTHING on it just like most of us do.
Have fun.

Shit I forgot about cam clearances. May have to run a spec gauge and true the spencer shaft to get an accurate reading.
Please reply with your finding.
The bike looks clean. Have you listed it locally on CL. If you do that for $1,500 it should sell quick.
Like others have said if you were in my area I would scoop it right up.
Good luck

Welcome to BansheeHQ
I have to agree with the majority regarding that twist throttle. Probably needs to go.
Anyway it sounds like a good time to upgrade the suspension. Stock Banshee shocks are the worst.
Find a set of used aftermarket ones from the "for sale section" here. Hell you should be able to find anything you need and then some right here.
BTW. Keep that boy off your Banshee if you ever want to ride it. Either that or sell the Blaster and get him one.
Once again Welcome

Picked mine up from Pep Boys for about the same price. But it's rated at 800lbs. I've had it for at least 7 years and use it all the time.
Works perfect.
My boy came down from Ohio. He tried to get here early but it didn't happen. He finally rolled in around 10am Sunday and after driving all night he just wasn't feeling it.
We wanted to go down today but the weather sucks. Are you going to be ready for Slades this weekend?
