  1. Im building the same exact set-up with same bolt-ons. Did you you ever figure out what the issue was with why your motor blew? If so, what jetting did you dail it in with?
  2. Thanks Andy, I meant 513 series for 110 rods. had my 421 cub on my mind when I said 573 series
  3. I disagree with this. Thers isn't such a thing called a 4mil stock stroke long rod crank. It does matter if it's a 4mil long rod or 4mil standard rod. If he has a 4mil standard rod (110) it will require a standard banshee piston 573 series. If it is a long rod crank (115) it will require a 795 series piston.

@ Larry I brought a used crank from a member on here, that has no up & down play. I built complete engine 11-30-11 to find that the right rod has a slight twist to it. I noticed it once the pistons we're installed & the arrow on top of the piston for the exhaust side was slightly turned to the right with a little play left to right. i wasn't able to detect without the cylinders & pistons installed.

@surfrjag... But all in all I really should've just brought a new crank from kevin that way we would have been riding this weekend. SMDH

damn dude that blows.i do agree tho,ive bought supposed 4 mill cranks that were stock or looked like both pistons ate the fucker apart. my bud had bought a 404 monoblock from la sleeve and a used crank.bike would never run right unless it had like +9 timing and then it was bittersweet at best. he sold the monoblock thinking it had issues for pennies on the dollar and put stockers on it. same prob. found out the "low hour" crank had slipped phase and wasnt tdc when flywehhl tab over pi...

  7. Brought everything I needed to get my shee back running to find out the first part I brought from a member on here is out of spec. Damn I thought I was going to ride my shee this weekend but I guess not.

  8. which bike is yours? From the post & looking at the video, the time is 3:50 when your bike lines up.
  9. 52 pilots 162 mains, what's your temp. there?
  10. If it doesn't wheelie on pavement in 1st your jetting has to be off. Your friends shee does it easily because he has port work. That's night & day difference on any 2 stroke. Get the CPI's & have your cylinders dune ported to match your CPI's. Porting is the best dollar you can spend on your shee engine upgrade.
  11. Yes a dune port makes good topend. The T-6's are good for a stock motor, if you are going to port it & add alot of bolt on parts T-5's would make a better choice. T-5's are cheaper if you can find a good used set. T-5's run around $250-$300 depending on condition. Yes you would see a difference in CPI's right now from the T-6's with a little jetting. You will lose a little bottomend, but not enough to notice or care about since in return is a strong hit mid to topend. Then get your cylinders dune ported for the CPI's. You will see a big difference in your shee & you will smoke your friends shee if you ride it right.
  12. Yes go to the dual 34 PJ's, I run the shit out mines & love them. I'm also going to use them with my 421 cub.
  13. In my opinion a good dune port would be the closest thing to the best of both worlds. Kevin at HJR dune ported my cylinders & does fantastic port work also. You can't go wrong with any site sponsor except one but im not calling this company out. You will find out who they are when you keep reading on here long enough. In my opinion the best pipe for a dune port would be CPI's, they are like T-5's on steriods. The R2's are a good pipe from what I've read. T-5's are the best bang for buck. Then it's Shearers, I run Shearers cause I like alot of top end & I am building a bigger motor in the future. Far as intake carbon fiber reeds are good & Stock carbs are good until about 70-80 HP. Hope that helps you out.
  14. I had this very same problem on my last build. What did you use to keep it from leaking around the spark plug?
  15. X2 on the dyno #'s....This thread went from getting dyno #'s to figaro sharing his experience with trinity. Which everybody that I've heard got the samething from trinity. (SOOL) Shit Out Of Luck. C'mon on ChuyFargas let us get the results from the R-2's & Shearers.
  16. Come to busco beach next year...you will get addicted to that place.
  17. Im in NC but not near Jacksonville/Wilmington area. Im in the northern part of NC 15 mins from VA line. Do you ever go to busco beach?
  18. Thank You Wheat, I could NOT have said or spelled it any better.....
  19. No not at all...Mines look perfect with the 158 mains
  20. C'mon man no base gasket be for real. I am going with a builder's choice, I just want to see other people set-up's.
  21. You sure that's a +4 swinger? I couldn't get my stock brakeline to work with my +4 swinger. I like them tires, what are they?
