  1. Thanks sleeper06....I did my homework by researching on here(BHQ) & figured out why my builder sent me the .020 base gasket. He didnt explain to me why he runs the .020 base gasket instead of the .012. Reason I was questioning it is because, im not the type to just go with a set-up just because someone said so. I like to learn as much as possible about my build & understand the reason for the combination of parts. Hope that makes sense.

  3. Ok I have 22cc cub domes that was cut for a 421 cub, but I have a .020 base gasket. I thought I suppose to use a .012 base gasket. My concern is how much will my performance change from the change of port timing also?

  6. If you wanted to ride trails with 450's, can am 800, run pump gas & still be able to lead the pack at will. I would do a 4mil 421 serval. As stated above they suppose to make 80HP out the box on pump gas with the right set-up. JMHO

  8. How many people other than me use this 100LL AV GAS? I was wondering how much timing could I add to this fuel with my cast cub? Basically how would I know when it's at the right setting before detonation occurs?

  11. I have 34 PJ's with CEG needles also...what elevation & temps was your 421cub jetted for? Also is your cub ported?
  12. No offense directly to you... I was just speaking in general for people that speak & act suspicious. Actually I was one of the few people that said if a theif wants something they will get it. I do recall it beng said more than once. I started stashing my bike in the dog pen because you cant take it out thru the regular door. That's great that you work at least 40+ hours....great job...now save some of that overtime & come to Busco Beach June 1st-3rd..........
  13. im going to make sure it's damn near perfect this time.....6 psi for 24 hours...& check float adjustment on the regular.... I have to have it running good for busco.

  15. I used all three oils, Klotz supertechniplate, Klotz R-50 & Castor 927. They all are good oils & protects really well, but I didnt like the way the 927 burned so dirty & separate at low temps. So I just stuck with the KLOTZ supertechniplate cause it burns cleaner than 927, Klotz DO NOT separate, Supertechniplate protects the same as 927 & Klotz R-50, . So why not get the best of both worlds....A dirty engine isnt a healthy engine as well as a clean engine without the proper lubrication. So why not run with both properties in one oil. JMHO

  17. Did you ever figure out a good jetting using this needle? if so, what was the jetting & temp specs?
  18. I also found this to be true. I have 34PJ's & CEG needles mid clip....here in NC at sea level, CEG needles do not like pilots smaller than a 52 pilots using the 34 PJ's. Im about to jet my un ported 421 cub also & was wondering whats a safe main to start with using this CEG needle? temp is ranging from 60*-80* , SB IF Shearers, K&N pods, VF2's, 22cc domes & 100LL ( av gas ).
