  1. Im at sea level running 22cc domes & +4 timing on my cub using 100LL....I tried using 93 pump gas & it detonated really bad & blew an oring. AS stated before it all depends on your elevation, timing, compression ratio & squish.
  2. Just reading this old thread & thought this was funny as shit..... he called him a pathetic waste of sperm.....Damn that means he really isn't worth a quicky......
  3. I totally agree with this....glad im not the only one that thinks like this....Thanks CAM
  4. I love the black & white shee....It reminds me of my first banshee that got stolen.....if you dont want them white plastics, i will gladly take them off your hands.....BTW Welcome to the HQ.
  5. Yes you just prove that you are really smart......If he is unemployed, the money he gets from unemployment is actually the money he already worked for from his previous employment. So i guess you are one of them guys who has alot of money & no sense.... Now back to the original topic SIR
  6. WOW....you are so smart.....I never thought of that. Maybe everybody in this perfect economy should try that
  7. This is so very true.....I mean....my point is the same as yours. Sniper SHOULD benefit my motor because it is a 421cub, but that kind of make people cautious because the price tag on these pipes are higher than the popular pipes & built based off of one particular motor. Not that other pipe builders didnt build their pipes off of a certain engine. It's kind of like gambling when you go buy these pipes. Me personally is going to wait it out until a deal comes around to test them on my engine or someone lets me use a set. I am interested in them tho cause they look sick.
  8. I agree with you here but $150 is alot of money when you put it on top of $675 without much R&D.
  9. You mean too bad no one can really afford them. The price is ridiculous in my opinion & as stated before if the price range was similiar to shearer, rockets, CPI's & etc I believe more people would run them including myself. Our economy will not allow me to pay $700 for some raw snipers & $200+ for chrome. I look at it like this, (Giving snipers the benefit of the doubt) I would be paying $900+ for a showroom set of snipers that has really nice craftsmanship & going to perform a lil better than the cheaper popular pipes. Right now I can't afford to take a chance at buying the snipers but would love to compare a set to my current set of pipes using my set of the pants dyno.
  10. Seriously tho....if you look closely from the beginning of the header to the middle where the weld is that looks like a PC. From the weld to the end of the header it starts to shape like a Shearers. PC give that bottom to mid then the shearer kick in from mid to top..... maybe Jim is working with something here one pipe that does it all.....sort of like best of both worlds
  11. Well the rolling chassis I was suppose to buy didnt happen. The guy didnt hold his end of the bargain. So I have to stick with what I have & work from there. I need some 39 pwk's, lockup/cover, 39mm intakes & 21cc cub domes. If anybody have these parts for sale let me know.
  12. The snipers are a badass looking pipe. IMO they are the best looking inframe pipe created for the banshee. The header reminds me of some pro circuits transforming into shearers. Just my .02
  13. I have a set...64mm but needs to be bored.....maybe we can work out something
  14. Very interesting info here: keep it coming....loving this thread.....because it's no BS in it......need more threads like this.
  15. Your exactly right man....It's a no win situation here.....If I started a new thread on this it would have been why you didnt use the search I used the search & didnt get any responses, so now im a thread miner I needed an answer to a similiar question to get me in the ball park figure, so I know where to start from & work with. These are the things that let me know that BHQ have more comedians here than real knowledge about banshee set-ups. No disrespect to anybody but it's the truth.
  16. I know I know I know it's a old thread & im digging but what will be a good size tire to run using the sd23 compound on asphalt with a 421 cub? 1/8th mile, 16 & 41 gearing so far
  17. For all that dont know about BUSCO BEACH.....Your missing out

  22. I enjoyed all of you guys & looking forward to meeting up with you again. It was fun as shit.....right zach (showerhouse) .....I'm not saying it cause I own one but the banshee's ruled BUSCO this weekend. Oh yeah Joe thanks for the shifter & super swamper tires....made night & day difference. You got me sold on the dunable override & as you could see I think my 34Pj's was tuned pretty good. Im reminding you now that I need to you sync my carbs: So when is the next trip out fella's????? Im ready to go back already Im Even ready to try LS & Glamis
  23. With my HJR dune port switching from t-5's to shearers was about the same in bottomend & the mid to top pulled harder with the shearers....just my .02
