So my understanding is you can backload a duneable overide? Does a duneable mean you can ride it like a normal trans if you want but can also shift under power without the clutch?

This might be dumb but I don't understand what backloading means. Can someone give me an explanation into how these work?

I got a small LED from Ban99, he's a member here who also has pretty nice grab bars with LED's inset in them. I ended up mounting mine with screws under the little tool compartment under the seat. Easy, clean and outta the way.

Sounds like I'll be around wash 14-16. I have some friends headin out early and that's where they like to camp. Wacko, your bike should be the easiest to spot....not too many with that look.

I'll be there, down in the washes though. I'll try and spot some of your bikes at the hill and say hello.

Like these guys said, you can earn enough money doing little jobs for neighbors and family friends to have a bike in a year or so. You would be surprised how many people would gladly hand over $40 to get their garage cleaned out or weeds pulled in the yard. Stay on it and you'll be there in no time and you'll learn an awesome life lesson. Anything you work hard to get is always so much more worth it!

So which one of the engine builders makes the most horsepower? Recently someone brought up the idea of a bike build off. I was thinking it would be cool to see our site sponsors battle it out on the dyno to see who can make the most h.p. Maybe they start with a basic stock stroke, stock cylinder motor with the usual bolt-ons, same pipes, and see who can get the best numbers and curve with say a dune port. I would guess this is the type of setup the average weekend guy would be running and might help entice some guys to step up to some real power. Would the fact that they aren't all at the same elevations make this hard to do? Any sponsors or builders up for something like this?Let's get some friendly competition going here

I have to agree with you guys, I'm going on 28 years of reguler Glamis trips and never had a single thing stolen. I always run a cable lock through my toys and gas cans. The bad element has gotten worse in the last 10 years or so but with all the added BLM and Sherriff presence, it seems to be getting mello again. There was a point where going out to Comp. or Olds. Hill to party at night was shitty unless you had a decent size crew with you. I ran across (on lots of occasions) gangs actually "banging" out there and hittin people up about "where their from". I haven't seen that in quit a while thanks to the "Man" crackin down. 10 years ago or so, we got in fights pretty regulerly due to assholes harrassing the girls that were with us or just lookin to get into some shit, which after some Crown Royal we were more then happy to help them out. All in all it's still my favorite place on earth so if you haven't been to Glamis, GO.
