The stroke is on the inside of the intake upper side. The numeric Lazer etched on the outside of the cylinder is a serial number from millenium technology the ppl that plated the cylinde. If you call them and give them that number they could tell you when they were plated. Measuring the cylinder total height and bore will tell you what it is. Further more measuring the heights of the ports will tell you what style of porting is done.
They've never been $20 for 2 sets of piston rings. Further more your trying to re ring a set of stock pistons? Are the pistons and bores within spec? Should really check before you waste any $ on rings. It's likely need a bore job and new set of pistons.. the news banshees in the country are about to be 10 years old.
If the rod has 30L on it then its a vitos 115mm rod. Vitos also never sold a 4mm crank with that rod on it and they didnt make a stock stroke long rod or 7mm. Is it possible its a 10mm crank?
LSOK sand gets rough as fuck after rain and no wind to smooth it out. Case in point this years ride, rain at night would trash then for the the following day. No suspension in the world would make a smooth ride going against the flow of traffic in the conditions im sure you were riding in.
Thats no a helicoil you pulled out, its just the cast threads.... youll need to buy a 8mx1.25 helicoil kit and drill bit, all the info on the size drill bit is on the package. This is a easy fix.

this late in the year the parking lot shouldnt be full, should be no problem to park the jeep and trailer there, unload and drive any or all 3 vehicles in.
The reason ppl bring trucks in is to either get a banshee in that wont pass db test or is a full drag bike.. or you bring chairs and coolers and tools. Not many or any dunes give you the option to be on one of the nicest beaches on the great lakes.
