  1. anyone know who was selling a pvl a few days back?

  2. pm rootracing, hes got them new and used already black
  3. rb0804, for some reason you cant get pm's, maybe your pm's are full. pm me when you get a chance.
  4. they are not the same as shearers, the pipes were assemblied by shearer using stampings vito had made to his specs. they are a very broad power range pipe with great top end but will generally not pull as high of rpms of the shearers.
  5. most big bore sleeves final bore is around 69 some times 70 but pistons are even harder to find. cooling i dont think is really going to be an issue as long as the jetting is correct.
  6. they are power pros.... http://i1191.photobucket.com/albums/z463/wtscheel/powerpros.jpg
  7. pretty sure they're power pros, maybe trinitys. didnt power pro make pipes for them?
  8. x2, drivelive in a michigan based company as well, and the chains come in a few different lengths for longer swingers.
  9. looking for a 64 stroke 68 bore cub cylinder. preferably little or no porting, un-plated or in need of plating would also be ok. ive got tons of parts to trade, heads, domes, trans, pipes,new/used cranks, drag axles, cylinders etc. etc. let me know what your looking for i probaly have it or can get it new for you.
  10. its prolly a 472cc, says it need new pistons... theyre like 175 per piston, it may need new nikasil(225-250), may need new domes 70 or so. a 472 cheetah with fmfs is a good clue that the bike is not properly put together, along with the needing new pistons.
  11. it interests you because every thread on a 2 into 1 pipe you're posting, i pass by tons and tons of thread the dont concern me in the slightest bit but you are attracted to these posts time and again. i didnt mean you were interested in the pipe because it would better your bike but that you would interested in telling someone else to ditch the set up and build exactly as you did. this thread started with a guy who changed pipes, noticed a diifference(for the better so he said), posted about his experience, then countless ppl tell him hes going about things all wrong, that the pipe is garbage even though he is pleased with the performance. why does it have to be that way? i like shearers better the cpi for drag racing(and any 2 names could be put in place here),always make more hp on the dyno and better runnin in the dunes. should i post in every thread that mentions cpi pipes in the persons setup and tell them they need such and such pipe these kinda reeds etc etc, that its proven that cpi makes less power and generally just try to make the person feel is if there bike is not up to snuff, that theyve been wasting time and money in what they're doing?
  12. I suppose people who run a 2 into 1 pipe really don't understand how two stroke pipes function. those people are basically every snowmobile manufacturer, and after market snowmobile pipe company. explain to them how the pipes they've been using for 30 years are not working properly.
  13. whats the size of this motor? bore and stroke. you said 600cc. i would say .122-.125 or so.
  14. for somthing that doesnt interest you, you sure like giving an uninformed opinion of a pipe youve never owned or comaperd side by side with another. atleast admit that.
  15. mikuni has a removable nozzles so your not stuck with the .132, get a new set of nozzles.
  16. but youve never owned a shearer 2 into 1, so using any info from past experiences with say a motofast or dyno port is irrelevent. lms1977 just switched from the dynoport to the shearer and said there was quite a difference in power and how it performed, maybe he would have gained more by switching twins but his riding style doesnt suit them.
  17. john, dirt wheels and trinity are literally doors down the street from e/o, ask some one like m&m how much it costs to run a small ad in the back of the mag, then look at the 6 or so color page ads trinity has. either they are cut a extremly low rate or trinitys ads are paying for a large percentage of the magazine.
  18. ive seen a hp or 2 difference between very small filters( the small 4in tapered ones for road bikes i think) to 6in or bigger non-tapered, but if your already have the 6in filters i wouldnt bother with the larger ones.
  19. a 795 seris piston has a 5mm pin offset, to accomodate for the 5mm longer rod.
  20. all these opinions of a pipe and the only person to own one is lms1977. this pipe started its life in michigan in early '08, before it was ever on a turbo bike it was tested on a stock stroke, stock cylinder, not much done to bike. most people are bias on the 2 into 1 pipe right off the bat, because of previous experiences with different 2 into 1 pipes. no one on this earth has ever had both a dyno-port and shearer 2 into 1 pipe on their bike back to back except for lms1977 and myself. he explains it to be much better then the dynoport was. i know when t-5's were the best pipe, there had to be some people that thought no new set or pipes could be better, but then cpi, shearer, etc etc came out and the t-5 was left in the dust(for a peak hp pipe). pipe builders are always making improvments why would it differ from twins to 2 into 1's? until someone has tried a shearer 2 into 1 pipe vs this pipe or that one or on this kind of motor vs. another, you have a uneducated opionion.
