  1. anyone got a rolling drag chassis to borrow? cant seem to find mine
  2. Langcourt will weld and plate that cylinder for the price millennium charges just to plate? I doubt it.
  3. x2 if you plan your trip right the voucher line isnt bad... bring a grill, food/drink, radio, bikes, folding chairs. make a tail gate party out of it, when those hungry ass people that dont plan anything walk by my truck when were making breakfast sandwhiches all i hear is "we shoulda done that".
  4. You are torqueing them too tight. Chase the threads before you mess them up
  5. theyve had a history of messing the threads up. ive had to chase alot of dome threads to fix the issue. at some point i talked to somone at modquad about it and the tight thread was to prevent the spark plug from backing out.
  6. why didnt you just post your ad from ebay? http://www.ebay.com/itm/HIGH-PERFORMANCE-NSK-11-BALL-YAMAHA-BANSHEE-CRANKSHAFT-BEARING-87-99-06-tz-t-z-/360466457106?hash=item53ed79a212&item=360466457106&pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr
  7. "Twingle" is what you thinking of. Where both pistons are at tdc at the same time. I had one awhile ago, didn't vibrate as bad as u would think but didn't provide the strong low end like I had thought it would. A 90* firing crank and corresponding ignition. They were suppose to ease 180* firing order where one piston is at tdc while the other is at opposite bdc. They wouldn't vibrate any worse then any other unbalanced crank. But bottom line they never panned out.
  8. from memorial day to labor day they have vouchers for saturday and sunday. they hand out dune ready vouchers for sat/sun on friday mourning at noon, parking lot vouchers for saturday are at 9pm. you shouldnt have a problem getting a voucher on a non holiday weekend.
  9. chassis shop, theyre in michigan so youll get them next day. http://secure.chassisshop.com/promo/2/
  10. you do realize that as far as cubs go, mat shearer is the only person that has a 200hp 4mm cub. it may have a turbo but it also has that 2 into 1 pipe that every joe blow knows doesnt work well. further more the 2 into 1 pipe on a n/a bike is a great pipe for trails/dunes
  11. ive have off the shelf vitos 10mm thats been running fine for years. i have heard about them seperating but most of those cranks have had the flywheel fall off, spin whatever you wanna call it. and the owners answers is always " yah it came off once but it was fine"... i coud go on. a bigger reason they dont offer a 10mm crank anymore is that the crank market is in the trash. wang and wsm selling a 10mm for $395 has ruined the 10mm stroke market.
  12. pc lazer'ed on the webs stands for "performance crank" made by vitos. pc will have has nothing to do with what rods are on the crank. could be a 110 or 115, vito never made a 120mm rod. of course someone could have put 120 rods on it but its unlikely. vitos cranks will have 29L on the 110mm rods and 30L on the 115mm. what do your rods say?
  13. if i had 5k laying around these would be the 2 parts i would buy... http://www.ebay.com/itm/banshee-drag-swingarm-14-with-carrier-and-brake-plate-swing-arm-/320945964227?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4ab9dec4c3&vxp=mtr http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yamaha-Banshee-CHROME-KICK-STARTER-87-06-Drag-/390428890562?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5ae76015c2&vxp=mtr
  14. stock cylinder is 4.036/37'' which would be 102.5mm
  15. how is the plating? any more pictures?
  16. easiest way to find out is check yourself. get a 18'' piece of thin copper pipe or similar, if the stick doesnt stop then there is no spark arrestor. but im 100% certain that power cores do not have any spark arresting festures in them, however the turbine core do.
  17. turbine core have the spark arrestors built in. power core do not. as to wheather youll get in or not, its 50/50. maybe a better chance of getting in on a holiday weekend when its super busy.
  18. looking for a rear marvin shaw shock. its going on a suzuki quadzilla. im gonna say 15-16''. let me know what you have thanks
  19. after looking over tdr's cranks theres... 4mm crarnks. $375 91-5722 $468 wsm 91-5721 $500 h/r 91-5709 5mm crank. $1100 billet 91-5705 7mm cranks. $375 91-5723 $468 91-5707 $800 wsm 91-5718 10mm cranks. $395 91-5724 $800 forged 91-5706 $1000 billet 91-5726 why is a 5mm more then the rest? why is the wsm crank sold at 2 different prices? and whos forgeing's and billet webs are they using?
  20. this is NOT a wang crank. that is a WSM crank. a few years ago i had two wsm cranks in my hands... -grey webs not black like the wang cranks -the rods are similar but not the same markings -the welds if you could call them that were " tac welded" after the bearings were installed, one lil bb of weld per side of the pin. witness marks were visible on the bearings. -tolerences were funky just like the wang cranks, too tight side to side clearence on the lower end of the rod. -the cheapest bearings used throughout
  21. there is no 72mm piston for a short rod (110mm). top case boring is required for the 72mm cheetah or supercub.
