  2. power pro used that type of mounting tab on alot of there pipes. pics of the lil loops the springs hook to and the silencers would help.
  3. They were good guys forsure. Not sure if they were still going atvs, I know they were doing mainly watercraft a few years back, there atv market is small and they sold there dyno to Illinois powetsports few years back, but if they are still open for atvs by all means they are qualified.
  4. it sounds like you need a modded trans like a dunable over ride, or have every other cog removed from the gears and a lock up
  5. you got a 85hp motor but not into dragging? your going to need some clutch upgrades, wheather its a lockup, or a combo of better fibers/steels, stiffer springs, or even a 8 plate clutch or the stock 7 plate.
  6. after about 70hp, shifting under power a stock trans with or with out a lockup isnt going to happen. ive got a got a driveline lockup on my 55hp stockish bike. makes the clutches last forever
  7. you can down shift over rides trans are what you dont down shift with
  8. then why after 2 people give there first hand info from 64x68 cubs, you say i have custom 24cc that puts me at 180psi.... does a 73 bore cheetah with 24cc domes equate at all to a 68 bore cub with a 25cc? not trying to mess up this guys thread, carry on.
  9. Call Charlie ohton from planet sand, it was Charles Jr bike.
  10. buy um now, $196.74 to your door, another $15 in gaskets and youll barely be in over $200. http://www.ebay.com/itm/V-Force-2-Yamaha-Banshee-reeds-reed-cages-AFTERMARKET-3-CARBON-FIBER-V-1-/140957632127?hash=item20d1bac67f&item=140957632127&pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr
  11. theyre still on facebook posting everyday of rzr's and porting banshee cylinders.
  12. Big difference between a cub at 68mm to a 73mm Cheetah
  13. You'll have a tough time detonating that's forsure. Not sure what your elevation is but here in Michigan a 19-21cc dome will get you near or at 170. And for what its worth .040 is mighty tight, low .50's would be more on track
  14. ^yes, thats where i learnt how to port cylinders.
  15. thanks Pasi, glad i could help you out.
  16. since this is directed at me and not 5-6 ppl ill respond... you ask for first 3 run predictions.... 4.4 was my guess, no i didnt not post is in the proper thread but i was telling you in the shoutbox it will run 4.4...now while Dave may have been joking with his guess of 4.20. i was not.... brand new motor, brand new jockey, stock frame = 4.4, do i think it will always saty in the 4's probably not. but to have guessed 70's or 60's with the info given you should have ur head checked. honestly what are the odds a new setup runs to its full capacity first passes? ever since your latest accident (which im happy wasnt worse and you walked away) youve been in threads and the shoutbox cryin and bitchin about how there no drama or action around here, that its so boring. so you started this prediction thread... and still in the shoutbox bitching. you were the one sayin your coming to Michigan over laborday, why? i have no clue. as i said in the shout box the other day i figured it was to milan to race 1/4... seeing as you just bumped your "going back to asphalt again" thread. figured after a piss poor performance in the sand you were headed back to asphalt. but no you were talking about west michigan sand drags. now normally i could careless about your clutch tuning thread or any other thread your in. but youve been whinning and bitchin for a week, then say your coming to michigan. so to help you in your recovering process i said bring the junk out here and ive got $1 that ive got a 10mm cub that will run that thing over. take it how you want... call your builder find out what tires he uses, get more help by all means, you ricky racers need all the help you can get.
  17. ^ exactly, the cpi logo is embossed into the stampings.
  18. after actually looking at the pics on my computer instead of the phone, those do appear to have steel sleeves... could be the pics still but see if a magnet sticks to the cylinder walls.
  19. ive cracked more intake sides of 573 long rod pistons then std pin height pistons (0), in the same cylinder.
  20. i was serious, that was with the stock chassis too. i woulda had it pinned if you didnt swap chassis.
