  1. Wsm rings always seem "looser" on the pistons than wiseco etc. Checking the ring end gap when installed in the bore with out the piston is how you check that wit feeler gauges. .012" is what you want.
  2. 2wd is risky sometimes. At the end of the entrance trail theres a pretty good lil incline that gobbles up the idiots that dont know how to drive or dont air down tires. If its clear and not whooped out I can 2wd in, if its rough 4x4 almost isnt enough. Airing down your tires is a must, 12-15psi. Id go for driving in if I were, bring a yellow snatch strap. Other duners love pulling out stuck vehicles.
  3. Regardless of what type of exhaust you have the quickest easiest way to get in is dune ready in the bed of your truck.
  4. Sparkies, flag, state park and orv stickers. Do you plan on going dune ready or parking lot?
  5. you can run a 10mm stroke in those cylinders, especially since the ports havent been raised
  6. stock stroke, unless some better pics prove otherwise
  7. 1. The guy assembling your engine is the wrong guy. 2. "a little clean up porting" is not what you have. They're not stock cylinders. Out of the box the port timings are modified over stock. So to get the porting you wanted it may not take all the work that a stock set of cylinders would need. 3. Pm me, I'll assemble and tune the motor.
  8. For future reference QA1 or the chassis shop are both decent places that sell rod ends
  9. They do look like theyre in stock location. vitos rods were... 29L=110mm rod 30L=115mm rod and now they are laser etched what they are on the rod.
  10. $500 less if you supply a stock chassis to start with
  11. You'll need the crank of course, head and domes, pistons, gasket and someone to check out you ported stock cylinder to make sure the port timings are in the ball park.
  12. Yes and open to offers on these chromoly swing arms.
  13. you dont have to replace them if theyre in good shpae i.e no fraying or cracks
  14. the step in the dome will be deeper.... take a picture and report back some thing else to do before taking it apart is to do a squish check., just so you know where your at. compression check at this point couldnt hurt either
  15. sounds like you got a fairly good pile of mis-matched parts... 392 is stock stroke 68mm piston motor, stock carbs and t6 pipes on that motor are not helping it any. you can pull the domes to check if it is infact a 4mm crank.
  16. Hydro locking can bend rods.... When it was kicked over its was trying to compression liquid and not air. Taking the pipes off and tipped the bike forward could get all the fuel out. Take the plugs out and try to roll the motor over. The damage may already be done or it may simply just need to be drained.
  17. wow. last week shearer was the 5th best pipe option out there... dont you remember saying all the shearer followers were gone... that when he tags ppl in pics its down to currie and few other ppl... guess he tags the right ppl.
  18. So LEDs aren't on the fastest bike in the country?
  19. pics would help, but i agree with the others. non running banshee for any reason especially a locked up one is worth no more than $500,
  20. why are there blurry pics of tylers junk in my forsale ad?
