  1. you might be thinking of the air/fuel for 2 turns out. just pull of your filters and get them set a little open and both the same then start it and tune it from there.
  2. yeah. so what you need to do is unplug the wire that goes up to a little black box thats on the side of your gas tank. that should be your problem.

    Well how do you go about setting up a pump so you get the right amount of fuel going into them?
  5. cpi or shearer. personally ive never ran shearer's but ive heard lots of good things about them so i think im gonna try them the next time a buy pipes.
  6. i guess he messed up his shoulder so he took some time off to let it heal but last i heard from him he was just starting to condition again. he use to live 5 minutes from me but now he lives an hour away so i dont see him much but yeah hes a really cool dude so humble. it couldnt have happened to a better person. I never went to school with him but my buddies did and they said after wrestling condition he would stay another hour doing it on his own!
  7. he on there? i had a buddy that was on it last year his names court mcgee and he actually won the ultimate fighter. hes a real stand up dude and not a prick like half those fight guys.

  9. ive never ran there intakes but i run a set of intakes that have the built in crossover tube that k&t ported and i really liked them alot!
  10. well i think it varys by state.. but i know here in utah you take the frame there and they will issue you a tag that has your win on it and you just riviet it to it.
  11. oh and you shouldnt have to jet for vf3's it will just help with throttle response. anytime you increase how much air/fuel that is getting into your motor is when you got to rejet. so say you port it, pipes, filters, those are time youd have to bump your jets up.
  12. 1/4 throttle is for that small pilot get 1/4-3/4 is for your need jet which is the needle thats in the slide and 3/4-full is for your main jet. so say your riding around and its running good except for full throttle well depending on it its lean or rich youd mess with your main jet. so on and so forth for all the other jets.

    ok i found some pwks that i wanna run.. BUT there pump fed carbs.. i dont really wanna drill a hole into the cylinders.. so can they be converted back to gravity fed.. if so how?

  19. name all your mods and elevation so we kinda know where you should be as far as jetting. did you put the bowls back on the right carb?
  20. theres a million different names for every type of porting.. what do you want to do with your banshee thats the easy question. then you port it for that
  21. it all depends on the type riding you do. pretty much you port it for trail, dunes, or drag.
  22. need some more info. what swinger you got? paddles your running?
