  1. Nope, OEM needles.... Went through a fist full before I got it to not sneeze and wreck them.
  2. You have seen the on off my 350. It was made out of SS because early on when we were getting it figure out it would sometimes sneeze hard enough to crack the aulm one. This same thing would happen on the turbo scimitar in the early days when Cliff had it as well. I know there are some mathmatical formulas that some guys are using to size the plenums, but on the bikes, its damn near dictated by the size constraints of the chassis. I used OEM airbox boots to connect the plenum to the carbs, but obviosly they were OEM carbs. All of these that I have been around do have a baffle in the box that keeps the turbo from just blasting the back of the carb inlet. As for the BOV, its just gotta be on there somewhere.
  3. No. If I was to do another boosted bike it would 100% be pinned. I have not. That setup left here after running an 83. Not sure what he did or didn't do with it. Last I knew he sold it to NYUK. That was off the 10 cub. Didn't know Cam had it. He's got it all figured out I'm sure.
  4. In my experience with 2 strokes and AFR gauges you will still have to tune the plugs to get your baseline. All that I've owned and been around operated at different numbers. You will be able to tune back to the number you decide is correct but unless you're riding in big swings of altitude or temperature change once it's jetted correct the tuneup doesn't change. And again those sensors will not stand up long term. Short story.......... this is a waste of money!
  5. ^ This is somewhat correct. We have been pretty successful with them in the sleds, but they are oil injected so there is FAR less oil getting on the sensors. IMO you will struggle to keep them working on a premix application. I know the guys that dyno with an AFR sensor are buying probes on a regular basis. The Bosch sensors are an OEM Cadillac part and are I think 160 or 180 dollars. I've heard that some guys have crossed them over to something cheaper but I've never tried one. Why do you need/want an AFR gauge?
  6. Me either. That is a smoking deal for someone though!
  7. That pit is where it melted from a lean condition.
  8. I've been carrying a Glock 30 for years and don't have any complaints really about it other than in the summer when wearing shorts and t-shirts it was just a touch too big at times. I had this on yesterday inside my shorts when I jumped on the boat and actually forgot about it. Took my shirt off (luckily the marine sheriff's were right next to me) and I had forgot it was there. Made for an interesting conversation with them! My ol lady just shook her head.
  9. Got my hands on the new Glock 43. Been carrying it for 2 days now and love it. I've got it in a G. U. T. S. inside waste holster and you barely know it's there.
  10. Does it roll free when the top case is removed? I'm of the opinion that stator side has issues.
  11. Sealant makes zero difference. Was that crank ran before?
  12. Holly fuck! Congrats man!! Shit is starting to come around for you eh!!
  13. Just buy it from the shop who is rebuilding it?
  14. This is solid advise from someone who has multiple clues!
  15. If it was me I'd pull it all the way down. Inspect everything, take good pics, post them here and then listen to what the people who know what they are talking about guide you. If there is nothing wrong in the bottom end it cost you 19 bucks for sealant and 13.99 for a case of beer while you do it. If there is something wrong it saves you thousands in parts and hundreds in beer.
  16. I will always respect people who admit wrongdoings and actively work to make things right!
