There were 4 sets of cases made. Those are about the only thing really special. The rest you can buy with some knowledge, and some is the same ol shit that's in the rest of the big twins. You had better have a budget that begins with a 4 if you're going to build one.

F1000 cylds

If you look at the 3rd or 4th pic you will see a plate between the cyld and the casee. That is an adapter plate to put the DMX cylds on stock cases. I've yet to see one live with that setup. Without running the numbers I'd say the 64/85 should be in the 725cc range. To get 817 I think it would need to a 74 stroke if my memory serves me correct. The DMX is a cool cyld but is a time bomb on stock cases. IMO that bike has ECATV written all over it.

You can plug all the numbers you want into your computer dyno, but I have yet to see a square motor run worth a fuck at the track. Don't know why (I have my ideas but no way to prove) but the ones I've been around just never ran like I thought they should have.

I was not there to witness it, but my buddy back east used 2 measly straps to tie down his triple cougar full rigid drag bike. Somehow the last corner before the track that fugger came off the trailer, out through a field and wadded up into a power pole. Ever since then I'm a bit more stringent in how I strap shit down.
