Understood.... I've seen cranks with a stroke that's not correct, I've seen then out of phase right out of the box, it's certainly not common, but can definitely happen if the person putting the holes in the wheels gets lazy, or the person assembling it gets lazy!
Not that you don't know what you're doing but I'd be really interested to see what Surf comes up with when/if he checks the stroke....

Clay built some suspended frames early on which were based on LSR. I know he built a very few singles, the rest were dual arm. I need to dig through some old pics. The very nose of the bike where the arms attach is one place there were some small difference. But it's been so long since I've looked at any of the suspended bikes I need to refresh my brain. I'll ask Clay next time I talk to him what the giveaway would be.
