  1. Like wicked asked... Do you own a set of calipers? If you do, take a measurement of a few of the fibers and let us know what they are. That will be the decision if your clutch is junk or not. I think all that fancy oil is a bunch of hog shit personally. We run ATF in all the drag bikes, and have no issues. Just be sure to soak your plates before you put them in, and then change it every once in awhile. If you havent got a basket, let me know. Ive got a fairly good one that Ill send you for free, you just pay shipping. If your fibers are gabage, there are a few different ways you can go.
  2. Any word on how any of your turbo bikes are doing?
  3. o-ring your stock head and scrap that cool head junk. If you insist on using the cool head stuff, charriot seems to be the best.
  4. What brand of crank, and what stroke is it?
  5. Just like is says. I bought this new, just before the 700s came out. Less than 1000 miles. The pics sohw the smack in the hood and I have one to relpace it with. SS wheels with Mud Lite tires. All stock except the factory cage has been lowered 6 inches. Runs good, Ive changed the oil a few times and had a local shop adjust the valves on it just awhile back. Has a marine grade stereo and 2 speakers under the dash. Not perfect, but not terrible. A guy was nice enough to take it through the brush so the plastics are scuffed. No gouges, but not as nice as they should be.. Any questions just ask. 5500 OBO.. For what its worth, it is stored inside.
  6. "heres a plate of dog poo. I said it was gold and you paid the price of gold, but I gave you dog poo and your stuck with it. If you dont like the dog poo, go find the dog that shat it out and ask him to change his diet" Dave, I like you and I think this goes WAY deeper than your knowledge. If it was me, I would ask Art to give you a few days to figure this all out. In those few day I would contact who you bought it from and explain to him the deficiencies that were in the motor that were existing when you bought it. (not a DM, and not an 11 plate) If he is capable of refunding you or compensating you then great. If not and he wants to buy it back, then great. The crank, tranny, axle issues are your responsibility. I dont doubt that you were unaware of them, but bottom line is they exist and were not made knowledge. Art WILL NOT and WOULD NOT risk his business over a transaction like this. The fact that you think hes trying to pull something over on you is rediculous. I understand your frustration with all of this, but its un excusable to try and dance around it. Put yourself in his shoes.. He got half of what he negotiated to get. I hope you make this right. Justin IS NOT a builder, nor is he qualified enough to tell someone what the fix to the problem is gonna cost. The only way to FIX this is with a new cylinder, new clutch setup, and a new axle. (Jeff will not warranty that axle. It was in a tripple, and it was left loose. Its not his products problem) And as I see it, there are a set of carbs owed as well.. No matter what happens, I hope for both that this is made right. And both parties can sleep at night knowing it is ok.
  7. Heres the link to Slip Shot Racings all electric drag bike. This was second ever pass down the track.
  8. I see your from LA.. Come to Gilbert in April to the fastest on the planet race.. There will be a few turbo bikes there, probably 4 or 5. Im from Oregon, but will be making the trip again.. Its a good time.. I really enjoy it back there, your state is filled with nice very polite people!!
  9. Thats the only one I have of any of them. I wish I would have taken more, but it just never works out sorry.
  10. 10,000 sperm and you were the fastest?? Unreal!! Anyways, heres a video of one of the passes.. I believe this was a 3.91 pass..
  11. AK is giving quality advise? Weird.. I think one thing that he meant that was over looked and he is 100% correct, if you run say a 20:1 mixture, and then without jet change jump to a 40:1 you will see the bike running richer do the the fact that the fuel/oil mixture entering the motor is going to have a much larger percentage of fuel in it. I dont think that your oil ratio had anything to do with your problem, and it makes good sense that you were having to jet up to compensate for an unknown air leak. We have run everything for 20:1 to 100:1 and have seen no power gains or losses through the dyno. Becuase of the properties of alky, I run 20:1 simply because Im lazy and dont like to purge every night so it seems that the additional oil doesnt get "washed away" as easy as it seems to with less oil. In the gas bikes, 40:1 always seemed to work well, and generally you have 5 gallon cans, and the oil mfgs sell containers that are sized properly to just dump in a 5 gallon can so you dont have to measure it out.
  12. You cant build them for 200 bucks and have them work like Redlines. Im rather certain that Dave is no longer making them. The other comments are correct, they have no power loss, and the cops seem to go the other way when they see them.
  13. The "big end" that he is referring to is the big end of the rod.(where it attaches to the crank) What more than likely happened is that the rod bearing went bad, and that what was causing the knocking or banging noise that you were refering to. From there the piston is then allowed to moved different places in the bore because of the slop created by the bearing not being good incuding going up to high and hitting the dome. After repeated times of it doing that it finall cracks and breaks the piston and the pieces get shoved around by the remaining piston, smashing that shit out of the plug, and everything else along the way.. Best way to fix? Most likely cheaper to buy a complete used crank. (the parts to fix yours will be more than you can buy another for) Depending on the damage to the cylinder, and your portwork, either have it bored or buy a used cylinder. Your gonna need new pistons as well as a complete gasket set. I would suggest while its apart putting the new crank in, to take a ood long look at all components in the motor. No time like now to fix it up.. Be sure that the crank you use has been trued and welded..
  14. Ok, I wondered if it was you. That was a fun week. You going back in April? Gonna have to call the market and make sure they get an extra pallet of bud light dropped off before we get there! Lol.
  15. Don't you have a local freeway you can go lay down on? Preferably at night and dressed in all black!
  16. No, mine is a self contained aerocharger but a lot of setups use a small pump and reservoir and then use a garret or similar turbo. There are pros and cons for both. I went with mine just for simplicity being my first time. They are more expensive than a traditional oiled turbo, but there is just less components which there is already plenty of.
  17. Erik Ross bought then sold that setup. It made 242hp if I remember right. He never gave it much of a chance to work in the real world. With time it would have flew just like it should. The turbo can ne a pain in the ass, but when they work there is nothing quite like them!
  18. Yep. It will get turned up next trip out. Made 10 passes or so, all at 17 pounds.
  19. Bike went a 3.870 at 82mph with a 1.44 60' at the ps race in Dome Valley last week. Was turned down to 17 pounds of boost and shit the nitrous off at .6 seconds. I'm only using the spray to get it out of the hole. No porting, stock cyld, stock stroke, stock head, stock carbs, 2:1 pipe. Next race I'm gonna turn it. Up to 26 pounds or so. For the fags that said it wouldn't work fuck you.
  20. Thank you.. I was able to clean it up a bit more, but theres just alot of stuff involved with the turbo, and then all the NOS stuff on top of that it gets a bit crowded and cluttered.
  21. You are a first class dumb fuck.. Mine is not a "kit" I bought different components, and assembled my own fueling system, my own nos stuff, my own EVERYTHING you fuck tard. When I say is like Matts, thats because it the say basic compenents as far as different parts go. Neither of them were build or assembled by the same person.. Save yourself the trouble, quit trying to look smart and get a fucking clue about what you are talking about prior to tryping. Just for your viewing pleasure, here is MY fuel, nitrous, and battery setup, as I was assembling it. Its wasnt complete in the pics , but close.. Looks real kit like I know.. You fucking moron!
  22. You are right.. My setup is near identical to Matts.. Oh yeah he did build A pipe for his.. AKhethen or whatever the fuck your name is, you are a dumb motherfucker when it come to you thinking you know what will or wont work. Please save everyone else the trouble and just shut the fuck up with you ideas and thoughts..
  23. If you want to build your super 7 mil crazy ported twin piped whatever the fuck it is, then feel free... But I can assure you my unported stock cyld stock stroke stock head stock carb turbo bike will out run it.. Happy building you stupid fucks!
