  2. I'd be really careful. It's entirely possible that if its running over a large amount is in your bottom end. If it fires it could hydro lock. Pull the plugs and kick it. Have someone hold their finger tight over the plug hole and see if it draws fuel up. I'm betting it does!

  7. There are LOTS of people running that same combination in stock chassis with great success. You would be best to concentrate on chassis setup and remain with what you have until you can afford a full drag chassis. When that time comes I have one for sale.
  8. Gas or Methanol.. Your builder will be the one you really want to listen to. Everyone has their own ideas on carbs and your builder may have different ideas than what someone else suggests.

  11. Fill it COMPLETELY full with ATF rock it around to get the air out of it and let it sit for some amount of time and let the oil work into everything. Then drain down to normal level and ride it around for a bit. Then empty and and refill with clean. If its fucked then its fucked no matter what but Id give this a try before you call it junk.

  17. Take stator, throw in trash, call local yamaha dealer and buy NEW factory stator.. Most likely problem solved
  18. Typical.. People join the site, ask the same question that has been asked a million time before, recieves answers and then never reports back with findings.. Then people wonder why they get the rediculous answers they get.
  19. Don't need to change gap for alky. Whatever it is as long as its not closed right out of the box is fine!
