Are you 100% positive you filed them done far enough? Some people. Including myself set their idle with the cables instead of the screws. (only in a pinch not forever) The screws are easier but you can use the cable if you have to.

There was a later question by j-madd that asked about the MPH and at one point you had given an answer to the MPH question and later deleted it. You said Tim had built many of them, yet another false statement. Its over with, Im over it, you admitted you were wrong, now your over it, done deal. I DO THINK that you are trying to contact the large coorporate sponsorship people like redbull and lucas and a few other that you mentioned in other places. I DO FEEL that you want this sport to grow. It needs to grow or its gonna go by the wayside. People are getting close to tossing in the towel on building 30k bikes just for the fun of it. The ONLY thing thats gonna stop that from happening is money. And the money is never gonna be there without LARGE coorporate sponsorship backing and I think you realize that and will try and make it happen. I think that pavement racing is where these coorprate comapnies need to start their backing. Sand will follow but often the speed of the event of sand is so slow because of track prep that they will shy away from it. So in an indirect way you are kinda in the drivers seat now... Put the pedal to the metal and drive this bitch into the future and make this sport mainstream..

What kinda comp does it have? Does it vibrate so bad it puts your hands to sleep when it runs? I'd check those two things, if they check out, head into the ign system.

Does it run at all or have you not got it started yet? Heres a poor mans way of checking the cranks take your plugs out and remove the stator cover. Take a pencil and put it in one of the spark plugs holes and roll the motor over with the flywheel until you find TDC. Then without touching anything put the pencil in the other hole and then slowly roll the flywheel. If the pencil goes down before it goes up the crank is out of phase and will do crazy things when kicking it.. With that being said, if you kick it slow does it try and fire with a kick back at weird times?

An answer to someones previous question about "beef" I have never met this guy and have no reason to be mad or insult.. As for why is he getting so much chit. Well quite honestly so much of this industry is built on lies and BS that when I feel I can stop yet another I do.. NYUK there are some vids of it and Eriks on dirt floating around. Wether any of them are from the record passes Im not sure. But there are NO vids of any of them on pavement becuase they HAVENT been ran on pavement like he was leading everyone to believe.

Heres the run down. 1- Still at Mattoon Machine never been touched 2- Owned by Erik Ross of MO, built by Mattoon machine was previous record holder and runs 3- Owned by Ricky Carrol of LA, originally purchaced by MAD then bought un touched by Rick and built by Titan and now holds record 4- Owned by Dune Jumper of MO (I think) was built by GT Perfomance, hasnt seen the crank in an extended amount of time (sad story really that bike should rip) 5- Was originally at WK then sold to another shop (Im not gonna say who incase they dont want people to know) was setup to run 78 bore cougar cylds. Im not 100% sure where this is currently but Im guessing that if it was running it would be well known. 6- SECRET (might not want people knowing) its still on the shelf more or lesss untouched SUCK IT.... You were trying to lie your ass into all of this and now your gonna have to face the music.

WK, DMR, Shearer, CPI, quite a few others can build custom pipes. At one time I believe shearer had made CR500 pipes. With all of the HUGE single cylds out there now Im sure there is something that could be used with a few simple mods. Are you looking to have them make 3 or 4 until the find one that achieves max HP or are you more looking to just get one that fits and works? Youo got a picture of the bike?

Mattoon does not sell their products for below dealer cost. Are they selling some of them below what their retail price on their website is? On some stuff yes, but who isnt? Businesses are doing whatever is needed to in order to move product PERIOD! The dealers can sell the product for whatever price they want to sell it for, be it full retail, at or below their costs, its their call.. The world we live in has changed, getting retail price out of ANYTHING is hard!
