  1. Was that crank purged after it was last used? Quite honestly that think looks like it was stored at the bottom of the ocean.
  2. Looks like a damn shopping cart... WTF is with that wing?
  3. fing joke... hope that junk runs well
  4. Pull the head off, and inspect domes closely. Despite if you find numbers ir not take a piece of solder that if the size of the bore and lay it on top of the piston paralel with the wrist pin. Reasemble the head and BY HAND roll the motor over so that the piston "squishes" the solder between the head and piston. Remove that peice of solder and measure... Once you do that report back your findings. If you cannot find numbers on the domes, your builder is gonna want that peice of solder, and your existing domes to look at before cutting new ones to help assure that you get what you want.
  5. Im assuming he talking about some nitromethane, or nitroparaphin based additives that are compatible with methanol.
  6. OK, Ill try this again 1- What brand of crank was it? 2- What brand of rods are on it? 3- Is it on gas or alky? 4- was it at WOT when it let go or while kicking or idling or?? 5- Can you post a picture?
  7. Take plugs out of box, install, ride...... Nothing more needed
  8. Hold on.... What failed on the crank? Did the rod just snap, or did something else fail on the crank and then cause the rod to fail? If it was just a rod failure what rods were on it? Theres more to this than just "the crank failed" You need to figure out what they cause was and then go from there. Some pics of the crank would be very helpful as well. Also, is it just the two small spots on the base of the cyld wall that is damaged, or is there scoring and gouges up in the bore? IF all of the rest of the cyld is good, and hes on a budget Id champfer the edges and run it..
  9. Something rare just occured.. Phelps is correct.. by the time you pay to have it decked and the timings corrected you will be into it deeper than just buying another 10mil Crank. millenium will be able to fix the cyld easy, but your probably looking ay 500 bucks by the time you ship it both ways, the repair, and a replate.
  10. Take a torch and heat the spring until it is where you want it then through water on it.....
  11. This is yet another reason to use REDLINE for all of your tranny needs. Not only do they WORK PERFECT but you will get them in a time period that is resonable and he will be upfront with you.. WCR is and has been a JOKE for a long time..
  12. Thats a screaming deal on the lectrons. Anyone with a 4 cub should be on these like white on rice!
  13. IDEA.... Sprokets are CHEAP and easy to change.. Rather than try and tune it over the net, buy one and try it.. Then you will know 100% for sure!
  14. How do you know it has 18cc domes in it? How do you know what port job it has?
  15. Didnt do well last year? Won 7 games, led his team into the playoffs, had several game winning drives, was he great? Nope! Was he a decent up and coming YOUNG talent? YES!! The Broncos are MORONS!!! Granted Manning is one of the best to EVER play the game, but hes OLD, has on going injuries, and by rights dont have alot of time left in him. WHEN (not if) he goes down with injury they are fucked! I cant believe they put all of their eggs in one basket like this, but to each their own. I for one am a 49er fan #1 and a Jets fan #2.... I think this is a great addition to the team in both a moral and leadership stance.
  16. House insulation works best IMO... As for mixing. Its common.
  17. ENOUGH SAID... YOU TRIED TO SAVE 40 BUCKS ON A MOTOR THAT COSTS 1000S... RATHER THAN BUY IT FROM A BUILDER WHO CAN SET THEM UP FOR WHAT YOU NEED YOU LISTEN TO SOME SMUCK ON EBAY.. UNREAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CALL A BUILDER, GIVE THEM YOUR ENTIRE SETUP, AND HAVE THEM CUT YOU NEW DOMES..
  18. 1500 shipped. Brand new 102 spread, 64 stroke, cub/dm patterened, (can have patterened to DMX) with window in bottom. Brand new never had a crank in them.
  19. How the F did I forget that? Yes timing is gonna need to be known also.
  20. Ok so this is all just general obvservation from your recent posts about alky. It seems that your new to alky correct? 180 is a bit high, however it is usable if your setup is spot on. There is MUCH more to a dome than a simple cc #. So here is a list of questions most are gonna ask. If I were you I would copy/paste and then answer them. Thats going to yeild you the best answers. 1- Are the domes a shelf dome or did your builder set them up for you? 2- What is your squish? 3- How far are you running before it knocks the plugs out of it? 4- Does it "lay over" or suddenly drop out of power going down the track? (lean condition) 5- What do the plugs look like after it knocks them out? 6- What motor/carb combo are you running? 7- What position are your PJs in? 8- Does the bike try to "run away" or free rev after you pull the clutch in at the end of your pass? 9- Whats the water temp after you make a pass? IMO this doesnt have anything to do with the head, and all to do with your tunning (or lack thereof)
  21. Best two I have. IMO these should be turned into hosted pics and made sticky labeled drag harness or something.
  22. Put all new guages in today. Boat is water ready. Nobody will be disapointed with this one.
