  1. Are you sure? Would you know the difference? Put a magnet in them! Every picture shows a line!
  2. Is this the motor that Mike Brock had for sale? With that chassis setup its gonna be a struggle on every section of the track including wheelies and handling. I read back through and you said your running a 15 over arm, so your long back there already. Id look at getting the tank up into the nose of the bike to transfer some weight up there to counter the wheelie situation. I agree that the bike isnt going to stuff the nose like that unless its chopped down from coming way up in a wheelie. A motor that size is not going to be easily wrangled in a chassis that small. Another member on here is getting ready to learn the same thing. You are only fast when you are on the throttle, and everytime you chop the throttle you are loosing to a smaller bike and wrecking parts.
  3. CK do you have some still shots, or some close ups of your bike? This is your new 24DM correct? If you dont have pics can you give some chassis dimessions and current setup specs?
  4. Fuck that shit! And there are guys running struts and wheelie bars on that mess?
  5. Loud and clear! That fugger is junk!
  6. You are on the right track. I wouldnt be afraid to clearance those floats a bit even with the 3.3 in them. They will be doing a lot of bouncing and moving when on the bike. I think its just cheap piece of mind knowing that gremlin is not going to show up.
  7. WTF..... Id start diving farther into that motor. Does it have the straight cuts like he said it did? CK158 is a 115mm rod or as most call it a long rod. Id have a hard time believing that someone built a stock stroke, long rod small block twister motor but I could be wrong. Set the jugs back on it and measure the stroke that will be the for sure best way to tell.
  8. Your drunk at 9am on a Monday? Wow, your a real great addition to society..
  9. the middle pj is similar to a clippard and should work fine. the other is a pill style that uses a round main jet to control flow. The setup will work, just no what I was expecting to see
  10. what size are the needle/seat? Those PJs are pretty special as well.. Will probably work, but not quite what I was picturing.. Did They put those in or were they already there?
  11. Hes had cock in his mouth... Hes sure to have a complex after that. This thread is not gonna help him!
  12. I think this a great idea. Too often guys are building big motors that are nothing but 300' bikes and have to put $400 dollar stators in them. I will be interested to see how these stators hold up in a big paint shaker motor.
  13. Going from a 14 to a 15 is gonna make it worse! That is gearing it up by quite a bit!
  14. M671504 touched it briefly, but I've seen on multiple occasions where the float actually rubs the billet bowls and hangs them up. Lastly. For future notes. Anything lectron that's going to be used on alky goes to Dennis. When you have them apart snap a picture of the metering rods and make note of what number/letter they are.
