Im haven't looked at all the results but there were several bikes that ran well and might not have been the fastest but won trophys that ran CPI as well. Point being not one winning or top placed bike NOR any of the records were set with bikes using sniper pipes.
Get, buy, rent, lease, borrow, steal, request, invest, (any way of obtaining) A FUCKING CLUE! Gilbert race was last week, how did you do? Several records set and a few got their door knocked on real hard! Any of those bikes have snipers on them?
Whats a "big" motor? Im pretty sure that picture is taken at Charlie Ohtons shop isnt it? Last I knew that axle was only used in Jr's little bike which was a small cub.
And it appears by the picture that its the bike on the LEFT that has the CF axle judging by the sprocket hub.
Guy I used to race with tried them. Promptly went back to JJ&A.
Are you using Aulm, steel, or Ti sprockets?
Do you have an aulm, steel, or TI brake rotor?
Steel or Ti fasteners?
520 or 530 chain?
Steel or Ti keys?
Cut or solid wheels?
There are LOTS of places Id look to cut weight before Id even CONSIDER one of those axles. Better yet you should by my glass, and then even if its slow it wont matter.
Yes, a Nytro
Im guilty of the spelling error of "your, and you're" quite often. Not because I think its some street lingo short hand shit, simply because Im stupid. Texting and Facebook as RUINED the social quality of this country. You have people who can't put together a well written sentence without using all these "short hand" words, and you cant hardly get anyone to talk on the phone anymore because they are so socially stupid they cant hold a conversation and would rather fumble fuck through a text or facefuck to communicate... Not only is it stupid, its SAD!
And your right, not much has changed. Other than Im going to have to find new haters, because the current ones are starting to like me.....
The M1000 was made up to 2011 and is a batteryless EFI setup. Same as the 700s and 800 of that era. These were REALLY popular to turbo because of the ease of tune with aftermarket piggybacked fuel control systems.
The M1100T came into production in 2012 and is factory turbo. These are a decent platform in the sleds, but for a bike this is gonna be a tough road. These motors are heavier than the Yamaha 3cyl 4 stroke motors.
AC made a fuel injected 1000cc twin until 2010/2011 somewhere in there. Other than that all the recent model years have bee 700/800 twins. Rotax went to EFI in 2012 I believe.
