  2. So i have been having a problem with my shee running. Been going through it and diagnosing problems that i though were causing the problem. Not really having any luck though. Basically, after adding some keihin 28mm pwks, and jetting, it will atleast run and idle..but i keep getting a lean plug on the left cylinder, while the plug on the right cylinder is looking darker, and maybe a tad rich, which is fine with me...the first pic is the first set of new plugs i put in it to get a reading.... http://i808.photobucket.com/albums/zz2mlongo86/Banshee/plugchop002.jpg got that reading, then did another one just to make sure it was correct. Second time around i got this... http://i808.photobucket.com/albums/zz2mlongo86/Banshee/plugchop2002.jpg ...So ive done all kinds of tests. Compression is roughly 110 in right cylinder, but the left was coming up with a slightly weaker reading, somewhere around 105....still operable. Moved on to the next troubleshooting test. Built a leakdown tester, and the motor held 8psi for about 15 minutes. Talked to builder who said that a vaccuum test would be a better idea, since adding pressure would possibly cause a faulty seal to reseat itself under the additional pressure....WELL now for the good stuff...im gonna pull the motor! If it is an airleak, this should solve it. Going to replace all the gaskets, a complete crank seal kit, o-ring kit for the pro design cool head, and of course a new set of pistons and rings. Are there any crazy tips i should know before pulling the motor out? of course im going to have to disconnect the coolant hose, and dump the trans oil, but anything else? thanks in advance for any information!
