sorry nevermind. apparently all you gota do to fix things is go inside and eat dinner and itl fix itself when you come back out.

So i was out riding the other day and suddenly the bike just shut off. so i get it home. start looking at why it wont run. check compression. its good. so then i check for spark....nope. i dig in looking for wat went wrong this time. turns out that basically all the wires under the seat that go back to the cdi box fell down and layed on the exhaust. thus melting all of them. so i already repaird all the wiring but still no spark. im wondering if it fried the cdi box. and is there a way to check them besides obviously putting a new one in? thanks for any help

does it have a fuel filter on it? wen my fuel filter clogged up it only let gas into the right cylinder and wasnt hitting at all on the left. i just replaced the fuel like from the petcock to the t-fitting and just got rid of the filter. workd like a charm

keep the 450. trust me i currently own both a yfz450 and a banshee and the 450 is leaps and bounds better than the shee at mx. it doesnt beat you up nearly as bad.
