My beliefs on break in. Mix your fuel at whatever ratio you plan on always running . 2 heat cycles. Set your rings as quick as possible , I ride the bike like I always do . Ride it like you stole it, hard down shifts to help seat rings. Honestly this can all be done in matter of an hr. Re check your compression afterwards. This how I have always done it. Last rebuild I actually picked up 35psi in compression setting rings quickly , from pre compression test , to post compression test after "break in" . Never failed me to each there own. It's like buying a car that's been babied it's whole life , you get in it beat it up real nice. It breaks. Beat it up real nice from day one that's what it's used to.
