Yeah I live in an apartment, I make good money but I couldn afford my own house. I wasn bragging I'm just stating that for being 22 I know alot and most people my age don't even know what they wanna do for a career, so some props should be given. I don't care what anybody makes for a living but for being 22 my wages are respectable. Yeah I'm ASE certified, work 40 hours a week, usually bring home 6-700 a week, and I'm only 22. I know alot about repairing cars, small engines, just know alot about alot. Stop posting, you have no idea who I am, what I know, or what I can fix. And by tuning I do mean pretty much all of the above, just jumping on a quad is pointless if you don't set the suspension up for your weight, and yes carb tuning is a big deal too. I don't race but just ripping around the sand pit you need all of the above dialed in. For example, going to do a rainbow if the front wheel sinks into the sand and the suspension isn't stiff enough you'll roll and mangle your quad. Or your ripping up a hill, miss shift or something which causes you to lose speed if your jetting on the low end is to rich it will bog and could also end up in a mangled quad

the previous owner also had the slides swapped an main jets 280 in one carb and 290 in the other. it seems like we have some stupid sympathisers on this post, what are you guys stupid too? need other people to build and tune your shit? the number of posts you make on a forum doesn put you in a catagory when it comes to knowledge, my day job is being a mechanic, and im damn good at it. this is my 3rd banshee, for performance parts it has fmf fattys, kn single pods, porting, v force 3 reeds, new vito super stock pistons, clutch kit, i forget what else. i was concerned the mains weren gonna be big enough but it runs fine, plug chop reads fine, and no i dont do haven done anything that stupid, anybody that has a computer could know put the same mains, what needle position and to install the slides correctly

Oh no shit the choke is suppose to stay engaged on its own, im on my 3rd banshee and they've never stayed on their own i just hold it out an kick, must be the vibration over time wears them. I even looked at a low hour 06 an it didn stay on its own

The choke dosen stay out you gotta hold it out, could be your jetting

If this is your first banshee then you might not be used to them, its a 2 stroke twin with no balls in the low.end unless you tune it to, mines all mid to top end tuned to be.

Without the choke tube to the right side it will cause the right to be lean. With those mods an stock jets im surprised the top end didn have a melt down
