  1. http://forums.atvconnection.com/where-ride...k-my-house.html Check out this place in Mass for riding, if it's not too far for you.
  2. I'm going to ride Trevorton tomorrow with a bunch of other people who will be on 4x4 quads and amphibious ATV's. They are meeting there around 8:30am (some are camping out there over night tonight) from what I was told. Anyway, i never have been to this place, but heard about it and how great of an area it is to ride the mud trails. I have the permit and all, but wanted to ask about "The Flats" the place where people park. After looking at google maps, I'm assuming that the flats is an area down the road from acadamy st, which is this little road int he middle of nowhere (PA 2044)? According to google, it's a 2hr and 53 min ride for me and I have to leave by 6 am tomorrow (hopefully I can get up early enough and make the meeting time on time). Looks like PA is getting a nice bunch of rain right now, making Treverton's riding conditions tomorrow really great!
  3. So far Anthractie has made over $100,000.00 in money from selling 09 permits. My riding buddy got one yesterday and he was #1190 or something like that.
  4. OK. Trevorton is part of Anthracite, correct? West of 61? I'm gonna be heading out there later "RAC" with a buddy to go riding. Probably get there after 2:30.
  5. Where is this soupy mess? See I have only been up there twice, the first time after getting my permit, it had heavy down pours, more like torrential rains. Though some areas had standing water, most of the trails which looked like they were made up or hard pack sand, were rock hard. Of off Burma rd were we rode, there was a coal hill area that had mud, and ir also retains water making for some fun bogging. But all those powerlines have this hard pack that absorbs water well, and had some areas that had puddels. We met some guy back there last time who was riding his jeep I wonder if that was you? I think he sais his name was Clint or something.
  6. I'm going to RAC tomorrow riding. With all this rain, there should be some good mudding around. Nothing like having wet coal dust stick all over the atv and your clothes and skin. LOL.. I take it the "flats" is on the west side of 61? I never been to that side yet, been on the burma side only. Got my permot a few months ago and only been there twice so far. So tomorrow I am heading up there to take advantage of the wet conditions, i like hitting the mud holes!
