I would keep it and still buy the razor.cause after the third time out on it,she will never want to take it out anymore and you will be kicking yourself in the ass for selling it.
I was on the fence with the springer basket for months, then I destroyed the cushions and the plate bent out that holds them in. after cleaning out my motor of which looked like coffee grounds.I was sold on it!
I'm not sure if I left that in or not when I changed it out.I was thinking that the other day, cause when it was a dune bike it had the shift pro and the modded shaft from fast. You thinking it's not enough pressure holding it in from that bearing?
I just started having some problems with the override yesterday and wanted to see what you guys think before I tear it down. the tranny shifts super smooth with no noises and just recently it wont stay in 4th gear,it will automatically shift to 5th or 3rd all by its self. it's a duneable and I only hill shoot and shift it like a regular override(shift down only when stopped) it has 2 quarts of ATF and changed on a regular basis. thanks jeff.
x2 you have to use the acorn nuts and new copper washers. I would take it off and clean all the crud out of it as well, before seating the washers down.
Does alky have a shelf life? I have about 2 gallons mixed in my garage from presidents day,it's in a sealed plastic type gas can and stored in a dry climate.
I'm betting the star is the correct one, being it shifts through all the gears and neutral is down.We changed to the ATF and never looked back and it shifts alot better.our whole group runs cubs with the duneable overrides and the ATF,no problems yet.
