no need for it,but I do put a thin coat around the water pipe section that goes through the case area, just in case the o-ring seaps a little. mull engineering sells a billit gear for the water pump,he's a site sponsor.
hey damian,do you have to change the needle and seat when you run a pump? Iv'e read on here a few times that you have to change that stuff and there is a few different pumps, some say the black colored pump is the best ones. I run the lectron 40's and want to run a pump as well. thanks jeff
I had the exact same thing happen to me about 5 years ago and it free'd up and shifted fine for about a month. then one day"BOOM" third gear came apart and destroyed the whole tranny.
I love my 94 chevy extended cab! it has almost 300,000 miles on the original motor and tranny. the drive train has never been apart for any work and has never dripped a drop of anything. guess i'm just lucky..
does alky shorten the life span on the crank seals? I just tore apart my bike with just one season on it and discovered that the crank seal on the mag side was leaking and wondered if the alky wore it out ? it's a good thing i discovered it early and still have the chance to fix it before it fried!
thanks fellas,I have a few more i'm working on and will post them up when they are done.vegas banshee,I just do covers, but i can cover it when your ready. jeff
anybody need a cover and low on funds? might trade for a billit kick starter, brake pedal, water pump cover, clutch insert, brake resovior cover or throttle cover. let me know, jeff
I got the no registration&insurance tickets on a 3 wheeler when i was 15 and being I was a minor,I went to traffic court and they were dismissed. maybe you will get lucky like I did?
