hmmmm.... back in the late 70s the h2 750 (drag bikes) were so fast that harley davidson started the ahdra. so the dident have to race them anymore! i have done tons of reasearch and i know they cost big bucks to build! but they have there own builders and parts like we do.... no as big of aftermarket as ours... but if you wanted to build a billet cased stroker aftermarket cylinder h2 you can! the even have full billet override trannys for them... some of those fuckers put out 200-300hp and run in the 6's (quarter mile)<--------- 15.000.00 motors
been working my ass of on my new bike! oing to try somthing thats never been done before..... i tryed that with the last bike 2. my favorite part of this sport is seing people shake there heads when they see how far i push bieng different. no pics just yet
just wait till you see project (HALLOW POINT)................ TEASE
im certain trinity did assemble the motor but not mutch after that..... cubs dont make good bottom end anyways! some builders can get a little better bottom and mid from them but there basicly a lightswitch motor imo....... been there done that. cant beat a 421 for an entry level drag motor though!
any of the sponsers can hook you up with a ripper..... we even have a few non sponser builders here (chubby guy from kansas)
that front end is 2.5" longer in front..... hard to figure it out when everything on that chassis is in a diff location. mine weighs in at 260 wet but thats with a heavy ass motor. you will love that chassis.... i can plow through the rough nasty stuff one handed! best chassis ive ever been on
but on the real..... sometimes you have to take the pin out of the clevis that ataches the brake lever to the master and use a screwdriver to push it all the way in and pull it out. (full stroke) bet this works unless its just bad
I run a e.g.t system on my bike and am able to get the temps within 2° side to side. One cylinder gets about 3/4 of a turn out on the PJ than the other.
We use to run beanol 20/1 but after switching 32/1 we use way less oil, the bikes don't smoke nearly as bad and my left rear tire is no longer drenched in 14 dollar a qt oil!
