  1. besides fitting in trails, i dont know what the issue would be going as wide as possible. however, going wider in the rear than the front will make it turn and handle funny.
  2. straight water, then add about a cup of methanol.
  3. i couldn't find a 10 mm left hand tap, so i just ordered a 3/8". just a little smaller, but then you can use studded heims. dont use the cheapo $4 ones though. call rod end supply and they can add a stud to any heim for about $1.75 or something like that. i got the nice chromoly ones for only a little more than those cheapo ones. i am about to order a 7/16" left hand tap set so i can use those too, just have to drill out the stem and spindle tie rod holes.
  4. i have a rough set of fatty's id sell cheap
  5. just send them to me, i'll get them out of your way.
  6. 32:1 super techniplate FTMFW. i used to run benol, shit is nasty. techniplate mixes better imo and its not near as nasty. some do run 24:1 but i personally think it is overkill. i went from 24:1 to 32:1 and haven't had any problems since... that was 2 years ago.
  7. welp, 20 gaskets came in the mail yesterday. thanks for the great deal. feedback left.
  8. i run/tune until it feels the best, seems to vary, but on my bike i seemed to do best around 800-850. that is kinda low compared to my buddy's egts, but any higher and it wouldnt run as strong. but i did just getnew pipes this winter so not sure what they will prefer.
  9. i wouldn't fuck with a drum. not sure on the price drop up there, but from smiley's here, its only like $.10 a gallon or something. i bought a drum a while ago and got tired of lugging that thing around. now, i just fill a few 5 gallon jugs around. much easier and less hassle overall. just my opinion of course.
  10. sounds like you just need a new clutch. call jeff at FAST and get his clutch. i think its like $99 and arguably the best one for most applications.
  11. no, i am doing probably what tyler is talking about. same as i have on my bikes now. kinda like mini tie-rods. lets you put tension/preload in the opposite direction of motor torque/twist.
  12. i have never used them, but i could only imagine they would make the front end handle like crap. back end might not be a big deal, not that i can see anyways. the kpi built into the stock spindles is set up for stock offset wheels. anytime you change that, steering is going to become worse the farther off you get.
  13. fox floats prolly be the cheapest decent alternative.
  14. i know you can leave feedback, but i didn't think it increased your feedback rating. dunno...
  15. i'm buying some, need them anyways and can't beat the price. i thought after you bought from a particular seller, you wouldn't get any additional feedback... or am i wrong??
  16. 10 paddle is too much for 70hp. i would say 8 extreme or 9 hauler at the most.
  17. check out mattoon. really nice piece and they use a chromolly back plate and good cushions. but, that east coast setup is interesting, wouldn't mind trying it.
  18. ive fucked up my toes enough from not having a stop that i'm gonna add one to my frame before next season for sure
  19. i have a couple sets of stock arms. i'll check the ball joints to see if they are still good. pm me if you are interested.
