its been said a couple of times already, but just to drive the point home, dont listen to trinity. they are notorious for using those shitty ass domes. half of the time, they sell the wrong ones and you will get the wrong angle like you did where it gets thinner towards the center. my cheetah came from them like that. i didn't even run it. went through the whole thing and fixed several issues that came from trinity and got new domes. camatv on here helped me fix (pretty much did it all while i watched) everything and i had some domes cut to his specs and havent had a problem since. do what others have already said. call someone that knows what they are doing. trinity does not.

i ran my rear brake from the front master cylinder on my drag bike. ordered a long ass brake line from a dude on ebay pretty cheap. i'd measure to make sure, but my 75" was long enough for a stock frame and a +12 swing arm.

i burned powder coat off with a propane torch. took an hour or so to do a whole frame, but worked good. i bead blasted it afterwards to get a good, even finish on everything. i bought one of the cheapo ones from HF: http://www.harborfreight.com/propane-torch-91033.html

yup, prices are good and always fresh alky. you might call and ask, but i think it's a good bit cheaper to fill tour whole drum.

holy shit, you spent more on a plane ticket than i will the whole trip...

doesn't look like there is any rake in that frame, but i could be wrong. if not, that will make it feel funny. also, for a drag bike, doesn't hurt to run a higher caster number.

my first full chassis i build was from 065 1" and it was pretty fuckin light. can't remember exactly what it weighed, but was pretty fuckin light for a dual arm chassis.

personally, i wouldn't use less than 058 chromo. i'm know builders use smaller and thinner stuff, but without having built enough frames to know how small and thin i could go from my own experience, i wouldn't risk it. is you safety worth the few lbs you'd save from going to thinner tubing? i mean, really, we are talking about 1-3 lbs at the most.
