the pipe is pretty much touching the frame so it cant go over much more. i guess i'm not really concerned with the carb touching the pipe, more worried about the carb leaning at the angle that it is. not real familiar with carbs and thought maybe with it at an angle, the floats would not work right or something. dont know, should i even worry about it??

so i got some fresh parts from jeff at FAST. Had to get the billet intake so my carbs will clear the clutch arm. went to put them on and now one of the carbs is hitting the exhaust pipe. i pulled my exhaust as close to the frame as i could with a pipe clamp, but its still in the way. the carbs is super close to hitting in the pics i took, but it is still tilted sideways a bit. what do i do? anyone else ever have this problem?

toss the bottle, remove and re-route all the ugly hoses, relocate the electronics. it really cleans the bike up. also, rejet. almost all the way to the bottom of this page has some guidlines on how much to change your main jet. prolly different for everyone, but good place to start. http://www.dfn.com/benkaren/jetfaq.html

i am about to order some stuff and was gonna see if anyone had any of it so i could save some money buying used. looking for any intake to fit my 34mm mikuni's, need a throttle cable, need pods with outterwears for same carbs. also, need a flywheel puller. let me know if you have any of it, if not, i will just order new stuff. thanks

that would do it and i appreciate the offer, but now i have to work sat. i'm not far from there so will def be going soon though. is there anywhere to ride in the dfw area or close by. not too far for me, wouldnt mind finding some new places to ride.

well, i wont be there anymore. went to put new carbs on, didnt fit so i have to order a new intake. have to wait til payday to do that so it wont be here in time to get up there. :mad:

i had the same problem a couple weeks ago but with stock carbs. either way, same theory. i just the needle clip up one position and that fixed it all. might be worth a shot... im no expert though

sucks to hear bro. same exact thing happened to me. went to iraq in 2005 and found out from my best friends wife that my ex-wife was fuckin some dude she worked with. not to mention she spent all the extra money i had been saving the whole time i was gone and had put me into more debt than i left with. but as everyone has said so far, sucks right now, but it will get better. hang in there and hit the gym.

i was plannin on going that weekend. prolly be there late on friday cuz i have to work. this is all dependant on my wife letting me spend the money to get the shee goin before then. should be there though.

perfect. thank god for search. this is exactly what i was wanting to do but i just wasnt sure how/if it were possible. someone should make some sort of instruction or post to be stickied just so people know its an option. really cleans the shee up.

got bored this weekend and this is what happened. started out just taking it all apart to clean and reroute the electronics but then i decided to cut my rear plastics. so, atleast something productive came of it. so what do ya'll think?
