i have a set of headers i bought for my truck and never got around to putting them on. they are brand new in the box, will gey pictures if anyone is really interested, but they are at the back of the garage behind a ton of shit. they will fit 2wd/4wd 5.0/5.7 v8 88-98 chevy 1500. they are just the black high temp paint, not ceramic coated. i think i paid about $300 new with shipping. here is a link to the headers from summit, but as mentioned i can get actual pictures asap if anyone wants. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PSM-70-2260 make me an offer if anyone is interested.

i am planning on staying in the state owned area where you cant reserve spots, but do you guys think if i get there on wednesday that there will be any spots? just to be safe, i might reserve a spot from lsps. the only reason i want a spot from the other side is so i can maybe get a spot surrounded by trees and shit cuz ill have my two great danes with me. they need the shade and a sort of boundary to keep from scaring people. what do you guys think???

^^^good idea. i just used masking tape and a box knife. i suppose you could heat the knife up to make it a lil easier too.

flat black always looks good, but satin black also looks good without going to a gloss. would be unique too since lots of people do the flat. somethin to think about...

no i didn't cut any wires, just bundled them up and zip tied the hell out of it. looks kinda messy, but nothing can be seen unless you take the seat off so i can live with it. i still need to run the two wires for the brake light, but not a big deal. here is a couple pics...

i relocated my cdi and all wires to right behind the gas tank, in front of the seat. but i didn't pay $30 for a bracket. i took a peice of 1" angle iron and plasma cut one whole side off except the last inch or so for the mounting holes. doesn't look the best because i am impatient and got it dirty before the paint dried, but it works and you cant see shit unless you take the seat off. i can get some pics if you want.

thanks for the input everyone. just ordered my head, should be here thurs. actually found some paddles for cheap on ebay, the hauler knock-off's, for like $53 shipped. those should be here this week as well. so i got away with both options i was considering without the wife getting too pissed. now i just cant wait for winter so i can send my jugs off. time for some big boy power...

i ride mostly at 1400-1500 ft. was planning to run avgas if i go with 19's. if i cant get it, ill just go with 21's.

just got some b-day money so i get a free pass from the wife to buy a present for the shee. looking at either getting a cool head with 19cc domes or some hauler 8 or 10 paddles. already have some ims v-paddles which i really like, i'm just wondering if changing to some haulers would hook up better than just adding a little power from the head and keeping the v-paddles. current mods in the sig, let me know if you think i should go a different route.
