  1. i think most prefer the taller 21,22 tires as well as me. try to resist the urge to buy more paddle than you need. an 8 paddle hauler is perfect for a 65hp duner.
  2. ahh, i see. well, i still think you could make a killing selling margaritas at the dunes.
  3. what happened, you give up on the margarita business???
  4. ya, but thats still double price.... i understand why they do that, but it still pisses me off.
  5. i plan to get there early so i can get a few spots. dont count on it 100% yet cuz the wife is checking to see if she can get off too. i plan to get there on tuesday so i think there will still be plenty of spots open. i think last year or the year before i got there that early and pretty much had my pick.
  6. i plan on staying on the state side if i can get there tuesday. i dont feel like paying $60 a night on lsps side just because its an event weekend. fuckin bullshit right there... $60 a night for a camp spot, really?
  7. thats the plan. hoping to be there that tues maybe wed.
  8. need to know what jetting you are running right now. might not have to change anything if all you are doing is taking the lid off. how is it running right now?
  9. if you are going to little sahara, ok, the fiberglass whips have a warranty on them so if they break, no biggie. i do have a couple metal ones that are just a cb antenna i got from a truck stop. they have the springs for them too.
  10. just switch to alky, you wont regret it. its cheaper easier to tune runs better more power you get to tell people your bike runs on alky
  11. i take mine off after every trip and clean it dry, then just store it in a rubbermaid with some chain wax until time for next trip.
  12. you can take your cylinders off and turn them around to bolt them on backwards.... easy ram air mod
  13. if it were me, i would just hold off. eventually you are going to want to start adding power, everyone does. at that point, you will prolly be wanting cpi's or shearers (depending on your riding style) and just be trading again...
  14. mechanically, what is there done different on a duneable? can you make this duneable or is it not possible?
  15. these pics don't really do this blasty an justice. this thing is beautiful in person. if your looking for a whole bike for the wife or kids, this is a good one.
  16. Guess a price would help huh? $350 plus shipping and paypal fees.
  17. I have a revo that I bought and barely used. I ran the 4 or 5 tanks of fuel for break in according to the instructions and then have about 2 more tanks of fuel ran through it. It is still basically brand new. Has the long travel setup, but I never installed it. I need the money for something else, so I am selling everything I can think of. If anyone is interested, let me know and I can get some pics ASAP.
  18. Just as it says, I am looking for some power valves. I have the blades for my cylinders so I really just need the upper part of the assembly. If you have something, shoot me a pm. Thanks, Tanner
  19. you'd be surprised how much lowering the front will help. i would still go to a +10-12 if i were you, but if you get that +8 setup a little bit better, it will make a huge difference. try a 13" shock up front, assuming you have stock geo front end, and try to get your swing arm as parallel to the ground as possible. if you swinger is pointing up, it will have a tendency to lift the front up and if it is pointing down, it will have the tendency to push the front end down, which you don't want either.
