  1. x2... have it done right the first time. you'll save money in the long run.
  2. def take it out of the bike. if you have a solvent tank or parts cleaner, or even access to one, it will help tremendously in cleaning all the parts and peices of ur motor. everything needs to be cleeeeaaaan clean clean when you put it back together. if you have the downloaded version of the clymers from somewhere on here, i would highly reccommend just buying the actual book. much easier to see the pics and much much more clear. good luck!!
  3. would you consider trade on a stock frame and stock axle... both bent a little??
  4. mattoon is the shit. great products and great prices on stuff too. they'll always have my support
  5. i would have to think so... thats the whole point of building a 350 cub, right? to run with other 350's.
  6. dont think i could have summarized better myself. customer service goes reeeeeaaaaaalllyyyy far with me. of course the job done right the first time is also expected but maybe sometimes the opposite with some of the builders out there. participation is huge too cuz if you can get out there with the builders themselves, that makes everything that much better. hours on the phone is one thing but being able to BS and drink beer around the fire takes it to a whole different level. well said.
  7. sweet man, good to hear... better get some lo-jack or some shit on this one.
  8. YEAH!!! Frame and motor are done!!!

    1. TNTS355

      TNTS355

      About damn time!!!!!!

  9. wuts goin on phelps... everything alright

  10. if you have fuel coming out of ur exhaust, you are waaaaaay lean. duh
  11. i think this "heavy hitters" award is a little out of perspective here. i cant think of a heavy hitter running a 350.... you guys buy all the big ass motors for a reason dont ya...
  12. ok phelps, time to spill the beans. whats going on here???
  13. nothin wrong with painting a frame if you do it right. like others have mentioned... PREP is the most important thing. it also depends on what ur doing with the bike. if its gonna be a trail beater and running through brush all the time, powder would be the way to go in my opinion. on my drag bike, paint wont be a problem because it will never see anything but the sand. you also have a lot more variety with paint as well as a nicer finish when you are done. you just cant replicate some paints with powder. its no different than car paint... needs a little upkeep every now and then where powder is just get it and forget it. just my opinion of course; there are those hard core powder guys that say its the only way to go, so...
  14. i would have to imagine that is something that should be left to the pro's. or atleast someone with the proper equipment to do it right. ive never heard of anyone actually buffing a tire themselves. taking tread or knobs off, sure... but not buffing.
  15. wut up?? where you located? sounds like you might be somewhere near.... not many people say ya'll.
  16. :rotflmao: who the fuck is this guy and why does everybody hate him?? well, i guess i can figure it out, but damn. :jesterlaugh:
  17. but to the OP, good deal. wish i could find something like that.
  18. that is badass. glad to see they took care of you. i dont know if they'll ever really have my full support, but good to hear they made it right with you. they just do something that i'll never really understand...
  19. nice lookin biike ya got there. i like it. i know you said you were only after cosmetics, but read about modifying or swapping your timing plate to be able to adjust your timing. it is either cheap or really cheap and makes a noticable difference in power. another worth while mod that is cheap is reeds. that'll give ya a couple things to read about and jumpstart your addiction. good luck.
  20. what's even funnier is the OP was running a 443 of some sort and everyone is reccommending 10 paddle haulers...
